A short but sweet VN with cute characters and gorgeous backgrounds (seriously, they are beautiful enough to be put in an art gallery!)
The plot is pretty intriguing and I like how you unravel the different aspects of the story depending on which character you romance. They all have different approaches and strategies in how they deal with the mystery.
If there is one thing that I think could have been done better is that the side characters (other campers and counselors) don't really get much screentime and feel somewhat superfluous. I wish we got to interact with them more to really get to know them, but I get that there isn't really enough time for it, and, at the end of the day, interacting with the romanceable characters is a higher priority.

A short but sweet mystery VN that scratched my itch for a complex narrative without succumbing to often absurd lengths (looking at you higurashi). Excited to check out other roots.

This is such a CUTE game!! I love the different characters and they are all very different but they work really well together. Amy is my girl but I will be replaying for the rest of the achievements.

A fun yuri visual novel where each of the four routes gives a better understanding of the core mystery at Camp Palut. The Cassie route was my favorite, and I liked the protagonist.
LETDOWN
Camp Palut is a short yuri Visual Novel that you can fully complete in less than 3 hours. I had a really hard time deciding if I should actually recommend this title. On the one hand, it's not an awful game - it was just fine. On the other hand, ~10 euros for something so short is definitely too much.
In the end, I decided to follow my brain and not my heart. I love yuri, but Camp Palut is simply not good enough to recommend it. You may give it a chance, but only after some serious sale (at least -60% if not more).
Story and Characters
I really liked the main idea of the story - summer camp, a small mystery, girls, yuri all around. Sadly, the execution wasn't great. Mystery part was super obvious from the start, buildup to that mystery was too short, and characters were too shallow (but that's because they had no time to do anything).
At least flirting with Amy was fun (if you did her route). There's actually some chemistry between her and the main character and you can feel it through the dialogues. I didn't feel the same bond with other love interests.
Gameplay
Classic visual novel, with some choices (mainly about who we want to date). Everything worked as it should, and all important pieces were included (like the gallery).
Visuals and Audio
The art quality was rather uneven. Great character designs, but forgettable backgrounds. CGs were just average and there were only a few of them (4 for each love interest).
Audio... there was barely any audio. Mediocre soundtrack, some background noises from time to time, and no voice acting.

A couple of hours long Yuri.
Choices do matter.
It's not bad and I got a Good Ending with Amy, she is fun but a tough nut.
There are more girls to pick so will try another next time.

I completed all 4 routes and achieved 6/7 of the achievements (I couldn't be bothered with the hidden one), so this will be me ranking the game and the paths of each girl - WARNING: spoilers ahead!
- Bianca: the villain of the game, who's a witch kidnapping girls to sacrifice for a life-extending ritual. Worst ending of the game. 1/10.
- Nat: the eccentric lover of cryptids with an obsession for bigfoot. Their path didn't even reveal Bianca as the villain, very bland character with a boring ending. 3/10.
- Cassie: the over-cautious photographer. Like Nat, she's quite a boring romance option, but the ending was slightly better at least. 5/10.
- Amy: the flirty, assertive one of the group. She's honestly the best (and only) good romance option, with a true lesbian U-Haul ending. 9/10.
- Art: inconsistent in the gallery CGs, and there were only 4 CGs per love interest. 3/10.
- Story: mildly interesting, but the game itself is far too short to build up to anything enjoyable because you literally have one week to get close to a girl before their path splits off; but the plot loses its shine after the first route completion because after that you always know what's coming. You can also easily predict that Bianca is the villain of the game given she's portrayed as a loner who only shows up at random occasions and doesn't have any friends (an offensive trope, but so is showing Brigid, the transgender character, as being the 'strong' character). 3/10.
- Sound: there's no voice acting whatsoever, the sound effects are far and few in between (which can be quite jarring when they actually ring through), and the music is extremely simplistic and looped. 4/10.
This game is a massive letdown. I was quite excited for it as it was advertised as a true sapphic visual novel, but it felt rushed and unpolished, and I could not in good conscience recommend this to anyone. Overall, I would score it 3/10.
