I had much fun playing this game! I loved controlling the horde of zombies.
I died many times at first due to the mines and enemies, but as I advanced with the sonar and more tactically I could progress in a satisfactory way.
I liked the power-ups, I will play more to unlock the others.
The plot of zombies in the world war is creative, with different settings, immersive music and greatly illustrated cutscenes. Great job!

This Game is actually a fun zombie game where you are the zombie hoard the story line is actually quite decent. where it lacks is progression and end game things to do. Its a good time killer for about 2 hours! is it worth 8$ i would say yes it is a finished game and they could leave it at this stage if they wanted to.

This game only gets past the 2 logos and then crashes instantly, i have windows 7 as per the minimum requirements and this game is unplayable. will definitely be getting a refund. dont buy this game unless you want to waste money on a product that does not work as advertised.

Really a gem... a Zombie game with a very different mechanics, where you are the Zombie and have to infect other humans to increase your horde... sensational! The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is very good! I highly recommend the purchase, especially for those who like WALKING DEAD!!!

A frenetic game! You start as a single zombie, and suddenly you have a horde of over 30 after infecting people.
The interesting thing is that when you least expect it, BOOOM! You step on a mine and all the zombies explode. Fantastic!
The difficulty curve is fair and the hints are great. The soundtrack matched a lot with the breakneck pace of the game.
I recommend!

no this game is ultra boring and nothing is well done , plus game has lots of bugs some are game breaking and you have to play over and over the same level
They even cancelled my discussion about how broken the last level is ... ! , enemy where shooting in the air , impossible to take them with the horde , some objects you need to move in order to complete the game respawn but also kept the previous run ' objects on screen ..... ahhhhhh so so bad!
Avoid!

Target Audience: Those really needing some time killers.
Summary:
They are coming is very much a very generic C grade monster movie. There's some ok things here and there with maximizing routes to not lose one of your guys, or a reference here or there in the big picture that will make you go “heh” under your breathe. But much like a low budget movie that is trying to just earn more money, They Are Coming lacks the heart that's needed to keep beating to stay human: lacking any sort of stand out feature and being dull and repetitive very quickly.
The biggest thing right off the bat is the lack of terror/horror present in the gameplay. There's no AI here, and thus you could kill the person right behind a person, have them yell (if they do), and they won't do anything. Even if they see you, which isn't a guarentee all the time, many humans will just walk 15 feet, and go into “tornado drill” mode, which you, isn't great when there's zombies all around you. That's the big problem: no matter what you do you'll feel like humans are just placed for numbers purposes, and you won't ever get immersed in the game. Key animations/sounds are lacking to actually give your actions any sort of punch, and even an hour in the game is really wearing on your patience.
Powers are fine, but the lack of their inclusion and usage in the gameplay make them superficial in most cases. Even in the Zombie sense one, it feels like you have to hit it over and over again in the OFF chance there's a mine early on, even when it doesn't make any real sense (yes, I'm betting the allied forces are putting a mine right behind their medical tent. That couldn't end badly at all).
There's just nothing here to justify your time, and that's the biggest problem of all.

Lists:
Positives:

Getting a large horde has a “yay, I did it” kind of feel that is always appreciated.

A reference here or there will make you chuckle under your breathe

Music is fine.
Negatives:

Dull after the first 10 minutes. New introductions of mechanics can't save it either: the game just gets super repetitive in the wrong ways.

Barely any AI on the humans means that they literally will give up after a second or two of running, like they literally WANT to be eaten. No terror, which in a zombie game seems.....silly.

Several bugs (including a bug where it saved on a checkpoint when I died) that really can take any momentum out of the experience.

Lacks a punch in terms of everything. Presentation doesn't emphasize the gameplay,

Lack of creativity using the space here: everything feels bog standard and lacking

Let me preface this with the fact that I did read the reviews. I recognized that I was getting into a difficult game. However, I was not fully prepared for the level of tactical genius needed to pass even the early levels. I think calling this the "Dark Souls" of real-time strategy is not an inaccurate description.
If you enjoy having to replay the same scenario dozens of times to memorize every little iota of detail to play through it perfectly in order to advance, then you may well find that you enjoy this game. I, however, do not. I loved the concept and was really excited to try it, but it's just too difficult.
I mean, honestly, what human with a rifle from the 40's is going to be able to pick off 6 zombies in the span of 3 seconds? Maybe an expert marksman could do it, but for every rifleman in the game to be that good? It just isn't realistic and makes the game a whole lot of NOT FUN for folks like me who do not enjoy repetition and are not tactical geniuses.
The fact is, all the developers would have needed to do to keep from having to issue so many refunds is institute difficulty levels that accomplish nothing more than specifying the number of gunshots it takes to kill one of your zombies (and maybe the human rate of fire). Simply requiring 2 or maybe even 3 shots to kill each zombie would make the game survivable for even a complete novice who has no idea what they're getting into.
