Steam reviews are mostly negative for a reason. This is one of those cases where I seriously have to wonder if the dev bothered playing their game for any meaningful amount of time, otherwise, they'd see how annoying it is to have to micromanage every little thing and deal with the continuous problems that happen. Bed breaks? Send a worker to fix it, then another breaks, and another, well hopefully the worker goes and fixes it. Upgrading the rooms to level 10 does nothing to help, starting a new game on easy with events turned all the way down does nothing. And heaven forbid you upgrade to a large ship, otherwise you can end up with 20 or more rooms breaking on your voyage. It's actually easier to just ignore them and just demolish/rebuild them when the trip ends. Same with cleaning and fires. And worse is the staff getting tired, you have to constantly monitor and manually replace them when they get tired, every employee, every trip. Otherwise guest happiness plummets and there goes your reputation. Can't even overwrite a save, the game asks you to confirm overwriting but doesn't actually do it. I seriously do have to wonder how the dev thought any of this was a good idea, the only explanation I can come up with is that they never bothered playing the game themselves beyond seeing if it actually worked. A developer thinking the condition of this game is acceptable seriously makes me want to avoid anything else they make.
