Started playing using steamLink and its so much more stable, got rid of a lot of the lag issues. The game still doesn't feel polished and I wish there was more effort put into the songs, but it is at least playable now! I can safely recommend it ! The concept of the game is fun and the levels are ok. As much as this game is enjoyable, it just doesn't feel like its there yet. I hope to see the developers give a bit more love to it! If its on sale, I would say go for it, otherwise it just feels half baked atm. I want to see this game improve but it just isn't quite there.

Most people looking at this will either have or be considering beat saber. There are notable differences between the two. For one thing, this game actually has an automatic map generation for custom tracks. It might not offer the complete editor that beatsaber has, but for someone who just wants to insert and play tracks they want to without particularly caring for a curated map, this will do the trick. In addition, matching the fan movement and orientation rather than swings is also an interesting alternative to the blade playstyle. But, that being said, it is not possible to render a custom avatar as it is in beatsaber. Overall, I like it as an alternative, and likely will be playing it more due to the custom track insert and play support.

This game is great, uploading your chill music and relaxing in a beautiful environment; it's a light workout that keeps you moving after a day of sitting but is not as intense as games like Pistol Whip, which is a nice contrast. This game is definitely a unique game with some new ideas compared to similar games in this category.

It's an ok rhythm game when it works but it's pretty light on content so I wouldn't recommend it for more than $10 or so. Wait for a sale. My main issue with it is that sometimes the music doesn't play during levels and I haven't figured out a way to get it to work consistently. Restarting the game sometimes fixes it but not always. As for the gameplay, it uses procedurally generated beatmaps so you aren't going to get quality, handcrafted beatmaps. The built-in music isn't great but it does have custom music support without any work aside from copying songs to the game's folder. You'll be using a katana in your right hand and a fan in your left hand to slash or match the notes and there's also a 2 katana mode and a 2 fan mode to switch things up. One weird thing I noticed is how the beatmap generator favors putting notes on the wrong side. It feels like 75% of the fan notes are on the right while 75% of the katana notes are on the left. I found myself playing almost entire songs cross-armed. I decided to try playing with my controllers swapped to the wrong hands and it was actually more comfortable. If I can dig out my Vive wands, that might be my preferred way to play. I've only played on Normal so far, though, so I don't know if this is an issue on other difficulties. One thing I would like to see is more environments. There's only one city environment that has a day mode and a night mode. The night mode uses the lights in the buildings to provide some music visualization but the day mode doesn't seem to have any visualization that I noticed. Having a few different environments to chose from would be nice.

I really like this game, I like that you can add your own music too. The cheevs are fun but a grind but that's ok... The only issue I have and others mention... the music doesnt ever start the first time around. I have to go to 3 different songs and eventually it starts working. It's rather annoying of a bug that should be fixed. Mew mew, 7/10.
