This game really feels like an original GameBoy game, with the aesthetics, sound and even the low resolution all contributing to that. Despite the simplicity, the gameplay is actually quite enjoyable, and it seems there's a lot of content. Too bad I'm not a very good player and struggled to complete the second level. But I managed to complete the first one with all stars, and I really appreciate these optional 100% requirements in games.

I thought it was going to be a casual experience , but I was mistaken, by the 17th minute I cleared the first lvl on one star, I think that there are two reasons at play:
1.I suck at platformers.
2.Hitboxes for enemies are way too small, you need to walk right up to them and hit the 'x' button, which can (and will) be confused for 'c' during combat (sadly you can't change it in settings).
The game does have pretty nice artstyle and music.
The replayability is encourged through gem collection, you can find them easily, but getting to them is a completly different story.
The story isn't the main thing here, and I don't mind.
7/10 would recommend for people who know how to play platformers
