Mini-games are soo dumb and trivial. The game is for kids 7-10 yo, but not for the company etc. Take Pummel party instead.

Having played the demo, and a bit of the full release. I think this is one of the best and most convenient games since Jack in the Box. First, you get a Mario Party like experience, playing on one of five boards. The goal of the game is to win coins and buy minions, which act as a life system for the final battle. The more minions you have, the longer you'll last. If you don't have any minions, you can still win the game buy winning all the mini-games at the end. The mini-games are a mixed bag of luck, skill, and sometimes even teamwork. You can buy items to improve you placement in the game or really put the screws on someone. You can also directly battle people via paper/scissors/rock by landing on a battle spot or landing in the exact same position of a different player. Everyone victory gets you more points, but you must find and land on the board master if you want a minion. The biggest twist of this is that you must use your phone to play. Similar to Jack in the Box. Some might bemoan this, but the controls are simple and work as intended. I have a pretty old alcaltel phone myself, and everything ran smoothly. You just go to the steam.airconsole.com on your browser, enter in the given code, and like Jack in the Box, multiple people can join your game. What's nice about this is that anyone with a phone can play and you only need one copy of the game to make it work, either by streaming like you would on something such as Discord, or playing on a home TV set-up. Perfect for the Steam Deck if you plan on buying one. It's fun choice if Mario Party isn't on the menu, and you have more casual players you want to play with. I'd say Party Panic is superior as a party game, although MMP has the better board design. The biggest worry about a game like this is that air console will shut down and this game will be unplayable as a result. If that happens, I hope they add in an update to the game that at least allows the player to play with physical controllers or mouse/keyboard.

Pretty terrible game, the RNG was a mess, the games were repetitive af and a lot of them were basically a copy paste of each other with different skins and was no unique different game Mario Party hasnt already made, i dont expect all the games to be thought up and not taking from different games, but when pretty much every game is straight outa Mario Party, why bother?. Loading time and over all game play was slow af. At first it looked like an interesting and fun new style of board game mini games but ive never disliked a game so hard like this one. i gave it a solid effort with my partner to atleast finish an entire game and we both couldnt imagine wanting to play it again. it can be a lot better but i cant see that happening.

A decent effort at a Mario Party clone, but not as enjoyable as it could be due to some key flaws. The board game is light on features, which in itself isn't a problem. However, the AI only has one setting (makes pretty much optimal decisions), so players' only realistic chance to win is in the mini-games. Without difficulty settings, it's hard to see how kids (or incompetent adults like me) can hope to win. But the biggest issue is the mini-games: too many of them are purely luck-based so are more or less pointless - you might as well just randomly pick a winner at the start. Of the skill-based games, only about half of them are realistically playable given the latency of the smartphone controller. Again, having different AI settings would be welcome, but fundamentally too many of the mini-games are frustrating because the level of accuracy required to be competitive is too fine for the controller to keep up with. I still do play this game, but stick to the mini-game mode and only picking the games that actually work - it's a bit like having only 25% of the game I paid for, which is a shame.

⭐⭐⭐⭐★ A great, fun, Halloween-themed Mario Party-like played via tablets or phones (Shared/Split Screen PvP & Co-Op) CONTROLLER: Uses mobile devices as controllers COMPLEXITY: Low OTHER: Family Friendly, Party Game, Board Game Best Features ✔️Family-friendly. Appropriate and accessible for all ages. ✔️Halloween-theme is GREAT for Spooky Season. ✔️Shared/Split Screen Co-op and PVP both present with minigames catering to both ✔️Fully compatible with Steam Link. ✔️Players just need to be able to connect to a website via phone, tablet (etc) to play, so you don't need 4 PC input devices. ✔️Simple controls mean even non-gamers quickly catch on and can keep up. ✔️Short minigames. ✔️Replayability with a variety of boards and minigames. ✔️ Polished, with no bugs we've observed. Room for Improvement ❌Minigames that use the touchscreen joystick are more finicky than the others. ❌Requires internet connectivity on the shared PC and all devices used as controllers. ❌Could use more variety in its end-game PVP contests. We saw 4, played each at least twice. ❌Could use more variety in the PvP-matchup when players challenge or land on spaces with other players. Rock-Paper-Scissors gets old.
