I liked this game for its cute and nice graphics and hardcore levels. In addition, the classic mechanics for this genre will allow you to quickly get used to the controls and immerse yourself in the gameplay.

A very interesting and a little bit dificcult game.
All levels are combined into one, so you don't have to go to the next one every time through the menu.
The pixel graphics look very nice, there is shadow and outline everywhere, it pleased me a lot.
Please make a timer above the plant so you can know when it will shoot next time.
Highly recommend it!

A hard 2d platformer that challenges you from the first seconds.If you have strong nerves and enough free time, this game is for you. Pass obstacles, collect coins, dodge enemy projectiles and reach the end.

An excellent game, I recommend to all platformer lovers.
So the pros:
‣ Nice 2D graphics;
‣ Nice soundtrack;
‣ Low system requirements;
‣ Very colorful levels.
As for me, this game is perfect, and there are no downsides to it. If someone has a weak psyche, then I do not advise playing this game, because it is very hardcore.
My rating: 10/10.

A minimalistic and rather challenging platformer. No, seriously, I thought this was a game for real hardcore fans. The spikes on the platforms themselves make it difficult to play through, but there are also plants in the game that shoot at us. A real challenge.

To be honest, I expected that, like all platformers, this game will have the same problems as other representatives of the genres, but fortunately, this is not the case and the game is definitely worth your attention, especially for such a paltry price :3

Not the best, but a nice pixel platformer, with obstacles, one of which is definitely taken from the game Plants vs Zombies, which is pretty cool. Of the disadvantages, only a too fast character, which is hard to control, but you can get used to it over time. 6/10, I advise you to play if you need to kill time.
Warning: Asset Flip!
Robo-Boy Risky Venture is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", kazakovstudios/TechGameHouse, took the Pixel Adventure 1 GameMaker Studio game asset pack from the real developers, Pixel Frog, changed the name, changed it about a bit, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work.
It gets worse... "Pixel Adventure 1" has also been shamelessly dumped on Steam by other asset flippers apart from kazakovstudios/TechGameHouse:

Take a look for yourself... these are all exactly the same game asset pack!
kazakovstudios/TechGameHouse has a known history of trying to scam people into paying them money for someone else's work.An example of kazakovstudios/TechGameHouse doing this is Village RPG, which is really "Top-Down RPG Starter Kit", written by the actual developers, DreamDev-Studio. Also, Mini Car Money Chase, which is really "Endless Car Chase Game Template", developed by Puppeteer.
The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Pixel Adventure 1" is just a basic tutorial pack to teach people how to make a simple 2D retro pixel platformer, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so a copy+paste of it can't be recommended.
Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off.
Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers.
Warning: Review Manipulation!
This game features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear almost immediately after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this review manipulation.
Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from kazakovstudios/TechGameHouse.
