Attempted playthrough here: https://youtu.be/lcdLaGcZSV8 This seemed like a promising game, but it went down hill so fast IN MY OPINION it's painful you're literally getting bounced all over the freaking world no matter if the kaiju is BIG CHUNGUS sized or baby sized you'll get bounced light years into the future once you get to S rank they spawn so many baby kaiju you're just going to get wall humped into oblivion. Your squad mates will troll you, you'll literally crawl to them to be revived and they'll dash away from you right before you get back. THE MEDIC COMMANDER LITERALLY GLITCHES EVERY FREAKING STAGE if it lasts too long no matter if your using her or the AI is. The Kaiju are just running around not even really trying to fight you while smacking the jesus out of you and you have to chase them down around the map when you have limited view unless your the sniper so fights can take FOREVER later in the game. The story doesn't make much sense and the characters are all generic and the same personality wise I'm assuming this is just a translation error, but the characters talk so much without literally saying anything of importance. The story stages spawn RNG on the map as well as the other missions. I like that the commanders/soldiers play differently, but I think it's a huge missed opportunity that most of the secondaries for the commanders are movement based since there's so many enemies splash attacks would be amazing only grenade boy has splash though honestly having the movement be a baseline on all the characters with varying amounts should be a given without wasting the secondary ability for example the sniper could have a laser beam, the lmg guy could use an rpg/bazooka, machine gun girl could have a burst of bullets, and shotgun girl could have a timed buff that makes her see farther/shoot faster for a bit. It's a shame that this game would be 100% more playable as well by taking away knockback/stun from any Kaiju that aren't A-S Ranked so they can't wombo combo you the fact the game didn't release with that is unfortunate. The game does have an interesting and solid foundation, but overall even though it's a cheap game and possibly beatable with tons of grinding it's just not worth the frustration until balanced better.
