game is a huge disappointment from the first. its nothing like it. seems like the dev team went from 1-2 people to something slightly larger and they just ran in a completely different direction with this one. play the first one for a great time.

the bugs are a lot worse than i thought from rumors i just love the grow mechanics games like this usually but this ones not that great the days are too long i had to start new files twice and the day cycle in this game is long.

This game was not ready for release, character changes every time reloading a saved game, no way to choose, (characters have different stats) several story missions dont pull all players in and some get locked out of the story for those missions/content. bug where sometimes you go to load in a save and your save game is not in the continue list yet still in the save folder location and could lose your full progress, exploit where you can use a mixer, mix amp and set to sell as crack to obtain that product early. some deals through text messages dont pay out when delivering product, will say 0 received. game advises to deal at day and not at night yet most customers show at night only in party spots. now and then when loading a save game map is recovered and bus stops are missing, have to re-explore to get them back yet still shows shop locations. (these are all from a mod-less save/game). cant build/place outdoor furniture in the yard or on the patio of any of the villa's, i recommend schedule 1 for a more unique simulation experience

I'm sorry to say, but this game just doesn't hold up. And it breaks my heart, because I was a huge, avid fan of DDS original. I loved everything about that game. It was a meme, it was immersive, the music was delicious, the police were terrifying and a challenge... This one? It's... It feels weird. It feels like seeing an old friend and realizing you don't recognize them. Let's break it down, small to big: 1. The code is still probably written in a lot of the original Polish, therefore sometimes random Polish words appear when you're trying to play the game, due to gaps in the translation. 2. The interface is not very pleasant. It just feels a lot less immersive and a lot less challenging than the original. To illustrate an example of what I mean: In the original game, you had to very carefully navigate around every inch of the ghetto and remember where the police might show up from. Now granted, having a bit more freedom of movement is cooler than being boxed in all the time, but it is extremely unbalanced. It feels more like running around Minecraft, rather than a challenging crime game. 3. The grind feels too harsh and too punishing. You have a very limited number of resources and revenue for most of the game, and you have to keep running around the island like a maniac to make the orders, leaving you very little time for anything else. 4. The story progresses in a very lopsided fashion. You have to continue grinding weed and fet, but you *can* technically speedrun to the end of the map and somehow get to the end. 5. Crafting feels very unorganized. Although that might be down to the person. 6. Again, this feels more like minecraft. You won't be taken through the essentials by Eddie or Marcus, you have to figure them out on your own, particularly discovering influencers and finding the recipe for new drugs and it left me running around like a maniac to deal fet and weed for 100 hours before finding Diego. In conclusion, if you're a fan of the original installment, if you loved DDS1 and felt immersed by the equal parts memes, grind and badassness, you won't feel the same about this. It just isn't it. I'm sorry, Byterunners. You failed.

To me the game is an improvement on the last one bigger area, more things to do, while also not being to easy, the learning curve is kinda not in the players favor, but once you are able to get pass that the game starts to open up, while also becoming more harder in a sense of keeping everything running while progressing the game and building your control, FYI ive rage quit and undownloaded this game 4 times because I forgot the number 1 rule of many gamers lives SAVE OFTEN, you will be VERY unhappy if you dont, lots of things can happen at one time, some being small things that pile up, others being a few major things that hit at the same time.

don't buy this game. it's flooded with bugs which make the gameplay really shitty. i played all the way through with a friend and the end was completely bugged. basically a singleplayer game not meant to be played in coop, even though this was advertised as the one big feature. not worth the money at all. the devs don't listen to the community, instead they release buggy dlcs that have basically no content, just to make more money. they promised to fix the game and in the end they completely fucked it over.

I think this is a pretty good game. In my opinion it is easier than the first game, because I got them in a pack and played them both, but the first game didn't catch me enough. The progression is a little bit slow, but with my slow playstyle this is good. The game is a bit complicated at first, but you can get used to it. The storyline and maybe progression line is a bit short - at least at the ending I would have played the story further. The product making is enjoyable, but you have to make a half world tour in the end, if you want to make every type of product. Now you can grow mushroom at home, that update made the game much enjoyable. I play it on geforce now so I don't experience if it is laggy, buggy or anything. The graphics are good.

It's more lazily put together than less thought out than the original - worse performance, for the same style stock assets and NPC's that feel like they were just bought on the Unity store and forced to make work. The gameplay is very uninspiring and feels more like run around and try to meet time limit simulator as opposed to actually creating and distributing drugs. A walking simulator is inexcusable when the world is bland with little to explore. Play the original if its on sale, or play Schedule I for a better experience.

Game is fun at first but then just becomes an endless cycle that gets boring pretty fast. Progression doesn't seem rewarding at all. I honestly wouldn't waste your time with this L.
