Marginally better than the dev's other forays into 3D game development, which is baffling as it's the first one they ever released.

Cool art style but the gameplay is aweful. The game makes it very unclear on what your objective is and it's pretty easy to softlock yourself forcing you to restart over and over.

Uhhhhhhhhh, okay?
This game makes absolutely no sense and even has a random Bernie Sanders billboard. It's super short and super expensive, but I got it on sale for about a buck and yeah, it was worth it. Expect a terrible laugher.

Big fat nope. Shoddily made. Literally nothing of interest aside from the phrase "Bread Cult". Not scary or creepy in any way shape or form. Barely any gameplay aside from going forward. No point to it. Several times I walked out of bounds or got stuck in geometry.
First time playthrough: 23 minutes (+7 minutes to reach the 2nd ending)

Pretty sure it's broken. I tried three times to play through this and when I got to the diner scene I couldn't do anything. I managed to break out of the walls on my next attempt and that progressed to the car scene but I was unable to drive anywhere or move the car. I like the style of the game but it's just unplayable or buggy from what I can tell. It also just might be a lack of direction. I also think the price is quite high but maybe if i was able to progress it would have been worth it. If you want to see some game play you can check out my video above.

Some people seem to have played with their eyes closed because it seems they didn't see the story in the game at all, the game doesn't throw things at you randomly at all. It's an allegory for a fairy tale with multiple endings ranging from repeating the way the fairy tale ended to escaping that fate. Depending on some endings the next playthrough might be a bit changed.
It's told in a manner similar to the game Paratopic which most people seem to love for that game but not so much here. I personally enjoyed this game a fair bit more, Paratopic just has excellent presentation.

I had some fun and some spooky moments playing this game. It's quite good at delivering some of those, but if you're looking for a more polished and deep experience, you should probably look elsewhere. The story confused me more than provided emotional connection to the thing, the scenes sequence and transitions felt janky and random, as well as the selection of most of the visual iconography. With that said, this game is rich with strange images and scenes, that are weird to the point where anything stops making any sense and you just stop and think to yourself: "What the f*** did I just saw?". Most of the time "the spooks" were quite effective (although I must admit that I don't usually play horror games, so more experienced players might find them less so).
The overall feeling that I had after playing this game was similar to visiting a haunted house in an old amusement park: shallow and campy, but delightfully weird, funny and spooky.

It could have been interesting if the author had given more love to the story and the animal designs. A clumsy attempt to adapt old folktales to modern indie horror.
