Wearing its Devil May Cry inspiration on its sleeve, this game keeps all the fast-paced combo action fans of the franchise will be familiar with, but isn't afraid to carve its own identity with its unique premise and mechanical distinctions, making for a very satisfying game to master. At 7 dollars, well worth the price for anyone itching for a new game full of SSStylish combat.

Heartless and Dreadful? More like... Heartless and Dreadfully Boring!
I'm still going to complete this game, but after just an hour and a half I already feel the need to voice just how much I think it sucks.
Loose controls with strange and unreliable attack inputs, poorly telegraphed enemy attacks, confusing to navigate stages with long sections of no action, screen-cluttering visual effects, characters that seem to never want to shut up, unsatisfying sound effects, this game has it all!
The gameplay loop superficially resembles Devil May Cry in a handful of ways, but drops the ball in so many areas that it's just kind of sad.
