I like the game and will continue to play it off and on, however I can't recommend it based on how I presumed the game to be. I wasn't aware that there was no progression or loop. You start naked every time you die and knowledge will only get you so far... The rng monster will eventually get you and I can't find anything to make me want to try again. All they would have to do is put in something basic like you made it floor 35 and the game tracks that so maybe I can beat my floor (or best run). If there is something I am missing I would love to know what it is, but right now I would not recommend it unless it was on a big sale.

The game is too buggy. I hoped that the last version wouldn't be that problematic, but it is. I had ton of different problems (disappearing items, immortal enemies (mainly the tower master or his bats), frozen screen (this is always in-between scenarios (bar-tower, pawn shop-town, etc.) that forced me to restart the game losing all items an potions effects, and the list goes on... Pretty good and funny, but the errors are conditioning for the gameplay. Suggestion: besides fixing all the glitches and bugs, it would be nice to keep the display settings after you close the game.

TROLL the game. Everything is going fine then half way through the map a big blue guy smashes your brains out. Leave a room in fear of being killed? Well there was a unseen explosive barrel that goes off and below up the whole castle. Some mysterious blue guy starts shoving you all of a sudden then seemingly has infinite life and continuously attacks you. There's no indication of how much life you have. So a hammer in one room just moves you some. In another it instant kills you with armor on. Companions basically just there to get killed. I threw a few to the other side of a long pit so they could hit the switch. What does the character do? He long vaults across back to where I was. The turtle guy will go "I can check out this room" and pretty much gets instantly killed no matter what. The plus side is that the animation and art are really good and reminiscent of the early days of Flash. The dialogue is interesting and usually pretty witty.

This is easily one of the most frustrating and obnoxious rogue-likes I've ever played. But the humor and Newgrounds flavor keep me coming back for more. It's a niche title but I'm part of the target demo. You may be too.

It's quite fun and good, but it's not for me. Still, I really appreciate quality of work that was put into this game.

Really fun game with a an interesting art style that kinda reminds me of rampage knights i don't know what the name of the specific style is but yea... Dialogue can get pretty annoying at time tbh but i can look past it though most people may not otherwise i really like it!

It's fun but too hard. 100 tries and still haven't beat the tower a single time. Needs some kind of level up system.

From my initial playtest of just one and a half hours (probably still many things left to explore), I can say this is one of the weirdest/surreal yet best games I’ve ever played—at least for now. I’ve never played anything like it. If this game continues receiving updates, even after its full release, it has the potential to become one of the best games ever made in this genre. It feels like playing a fully controllable, trippy, cartoon-style roguelike—such an experience! For a roguelike, replayability is the most important factor, so let's see how this game progresses. For now, I’ll leave a like. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit: After a bit more playtime, here is my current criticism/general opinion on this early access: 1- There are many bugs, which will hopefully be fixed with patches. 2- The performance needs improvement—this game shouldn't have any issues running on any PC, yet it experiences serious lag when leaving the tower and occasionally inside it. 3- The overall idea/concept of the game is very good; however, it definitely needs more content. This includes more characters, NPCs, enemies, variations of existing characters/enemies, different dungeon layouts per run, room types, trap types, trap room types, events, random potions, player transformations, and many, many more voice lines to prevent repetition. 4- It needs a VSync option to prevent screen tearing and manage refresh rates.

This game rules! Fun, random, addicting. The dialogue: Funny, but not funny haha. It's funny in a enjoyable way that makes it chill. It is not cringe or forced. The gameplay: I love the way this game is made. You are free to play however you like and enjoy the game however you like it (direct combat, evasiveness, etc.) The loop: Die, Die, Die.. Die. Somehow this game made dying fun. The frustration is related to the really dumb ways you will die at the start, however i can't even get mad when i die after 20 minutes of gameplay because it just feels terribly funny and enjoyable throughout the whole experience The random: It feels like a random event simulation based on dumb luck. I say this as a great positive part of this game. Somehow you can keep going for 4 floors with only a celery, accidentally dodging every trap but die first floor with the best equipment. The keeper (or whatever his name is): I despise him.. for that i think the game did a great job. He is unpredictable but understandable. Feels like a bipolar mother. I look on to meeting this MILF every floor as it adds spice to the game. The rating: 9/10 (the controls are really annoying until you get the hang of them) Buy this game for your own mental health. It deserves every cent and the devs deserve the recognition.
