This game is extremely unique, has a good sense of humor, fairly challenging, and clearly has a lot of love built into it. Really excited to keep exploring and learning all these nuanced mechanics, it's a great pickup for a co-op game and has a lot of depth! Dear Devs, keep updating it, you've got something great here!

My favorite proximity chat horror game, the gameplay is super fun with stuff like special levels and fun upgrades, the atmosphere is great the music adds a lot to it plus the artstyle and vibe really mesh well to give a good scary experience. the roguelike elements and random generation give this game a lot of replay ability, and there are three separate areas that have entirely different styles/gameplay, so if you've got some friends and want a fun experience definitely give it a try.

This game is a bargain at the current price. A lot of content and obvious care has been put in by the devs. Lots of replay-ability.

Kletka is another game in the relatively short list of, whatever this genre is called, games that pit you against randomly generated levels in a desperate bid to fulfill some kind of "quota". In this instance, you're feeding an elevator called a Kletka (cage) with whatever meat or gasoline you can find, lest it eat YOU instead. It's interesting to me how Kletka, like similar games such as Lethal Company, manages to terrify while still having a sense of humor. This has become something of a staple of the genre. One minute you're walking down a dimly lit hall in the dead silence, hearing only your footsteps or perhaps the dread sound of...whatever around the corner. The next, the elevator door opens and you find yourself in what looks like a long hallway that was never textured, but instead made to look like an optical illusion. It almost reminds me of all the extended Backrooms levels that people have created over the years, except it's the Russian version and here they call it a Gigastructure. Each level presents you with a set of hallways, rooms, and loot pools that you must traverse and collect in order to, as mentioned at the start, fuel your Kletka and continue the descent. Gasoline is scarce, and the only other source of fuel is meat or food, equally as scarce. You can counteract this by finding cogs to upgrade the Kletka's systems and lessen the amount of fuel it consumes, along with being able to detect whether a floor is a good place to search for gas. Overall, the loop is solid and keeps me coming back, wanting for that perfect run so I can see the credits roll. I'm somewhat disappointed in current lack of room variety. There seems to be many secret floors and interesting moments to find on each run. However, rooms that house loot end up being the same 2-3 designs many times over through each floor. Occasionally you'll find these somewhat large rooms that have either connected halls or multiple doorways to go through. Unfortunately, those halls and doors all lead to those same 2-3 rooms you've already seen 5 times on that same floor. I guess I can excuse the lack there of because it's supposed to a big apartment block, where in most of the flats would probably look the same in real life. Still, this is supposed to be a massive constantly shifting structure that serves as punishment to the condemned. If feeling like you're making no progress and staying on the same floor for almost 60 floors straight is damnation and I'm the Devil, yeah I can get behind it. Granted, I'm just explaining this in a dopey way. Basically, I'm asking for more rooms, which I saw the Devs talked about in one of their Steam news bits as something they were pursuing. Despite my concerns with level variety, I'm genuinely enjoying Kletka and have zero issue recommending it to any fans of the genre or really to any horror fans in general.

KLETKA is a co-op horror roguelike that throws players into the decaying bowels of a massive underground structure, where the only way out is down. Developed by Callback and ln404, the game builds its tension around a unique mechanic: an ominous elevator that must be fed—either with resources or with flesh. With a bleak retro-futuristic setting and an ever-present sense of danger, KLETKA manages to combine atmospheric horror, teamwork-driven gameplay, and roguelike unpredictability into a truly unsettling experience. At the core of the game is the elevator itself, a sentient, rumbling force that propels the players deeper into a massive complex. Each descent is filled with uncertainty. Players explore procedurally generated floors littered with traps, strange devices, and hostile entities. With up to six players working together, the experience quickly becomes a scramble to balance survival, scavenging, and elevator maintenance. The atmosphere is heavy with dread; every flickering light or distant echo suggests something terrible is just around the corner. Cooperative gameplay is KLETKA’s strongest asset. Communication and coordination are vital, especially when the environment turns against the group. Whether it’s fixing machinery, collecting strange fuels, or making the hard decision to sacrifice a teammate to keep the elevator running, the game thrives on player-driven stories and split-second choices. Proximity voice chat adds tension, especially when a crewmate’s screams suddenly go silent mid-transmission. It often feels like every run can fall apart at any moment—and often does. The design is deliberately grimy and industrial, with visuals that lean into a low-poly, analog-tech aesthetic. The world feels rusted and on the edge of collapse. Sound design is particularly effective, with unsettling ambient audio and the occasional surreal touch, like stumbling upon a cassette tape playing classical music. Between the oppressive quiet and the bursts of chaos during combat or system failures, KLETKA keeps players on edge from start to finish. While the current Early Access build offers a solid foundation—with multiple enemy types, biomes, and gameplay modes like Story and Endless—it isn’t without flaws. Occasional technical issues such as crashes or glitchy boss fights can interrupt the flow, and some mechanics could use additional balancing. Still, the developers have shown active support, and a detailed roadmap promises more content, polish, and depth over time. KLETKA is already an engaging and memorable horror experience, especially when played with friends. It mixes survival horror with emergent chaos in a way few games manage, and the result is a dark, unpredictable descent into the unknown. With its strong core mechanics and eerie atmosphere, it’s poised to become a standout in the co-op horror genre as it moves toward full release. Rating: 8/10
