Maybe the best short eroge from this company, to be honest. Really good job on the animation. I hope they make more like this one.

A New chapter and 2 new ninjas appear. Loads of ecchi content and HD gallery. Typical romance style story with multiple endings. AkasaAi artwork is always amazing. Steam censored version, patch available at Denpasoft

NinNinDays2, developed by iMel and published by qureate, continues the lighthearted romantic escapades established by its predecessor, offering a blend of slice-of-life comedy, romantic tension, and fanservice wrapped in a colorful anime aesthetic. The game centers around the everyday life of the protagonist who finds himself cohabiting with two kunoichi—Suzuran and Kikyō—modern-day ninja who must navigate the complexities of daily urban life while concealing their secret identities. Set against the lively backdrop of Akihabara, the game plays out as a cheerful and slightly risqué story about companionship, attraction, and the gradual development of trust and affection between mismatched roommates. The story unfolds primarily through visual novel storytelling, with branching routes and dialogue choices leading the player toward different endings. The narrative structure encourages multiple playthroughs to fully explore the relationship paths of both heroines, each offering unique perspectives and emotional beats. Suzuran is portrayed as cheerful, clumsy, and endearingly straightforward, while Kikyō provides a calm, disciplined, and occasionally teasing counterbalance. Their dynamic, along with the player’s interactions, forms the emotional core of the story. The writing doesn’t aim for depth or heavy drama but rather provides a warm, escapist tone with humor and mild tension sprinkled throughout. The game’s charm lies in the chemistry between the characters and the light flirtation that naturally progresses into romantic connection. Visually, NinNinDays2 excels in presentation. The character artwork, designed by AkasaAi, is vibrant and expressive, enhanced by the E-mote animation system that gives subtle life to the characters’ gestures and facial expressions. These small animations make dialogue sequences feel more fluid and natural, bridging the gap between static visual novels and animated storytelling. Backgrounds are clean and detailed, depicting familiar cityscapes, cozy interiors, and the occasional traditional motif tied to the ninja theme. The game’s UI is simple and elegant, allowing easy navigation through text, menus, and save functions. The Japanese voice acting, delivered by professional seiyuu, complements the characters well and adds a strong layer of personality to each scene. The soundtrack, consisting of upbeat melodies and soothing ambient tunes, reinforces the game’s light romantic tone without becoming repetitive. From a gameplay standpoint, NinNinDays2 follows a straightforward structure—reading through dialogue, making decisions at key points, and unlocking CG illustrations as you progress through different story branches. While there is little mechanical depth beyond the visual novel format, the strength lies in the pacing and presentation. The routes are short enough to remain engaging, typically taking four to five hours to complete, yet substantial enough to give a sense of narrative closure. The inclusion of multiple endings and unlockable scenes encourages replayability for completionists or players who wish to see both heroines’ stories unfold in full. While some of the dialogue choices may seem inconsequential, the overall flow ensures that players remain invested in the developing relationships. However, the game’s simplicity may also be its biggest limitation. The plot, while pleasant and occasionally heartfelt, doesn’t stray far from familiar romantic tropes—accidental intimacy, misunderstandings, and gradual emotional growth. The ninja theme, while visually present in character designs and occasional references, often feels secondary to the slice-of-life romantic comedy focus. Players expecting deeper lore or action-oriented storylines might find this underwhelming. Similarly, the English localization, while serviceable, can occasionally feel stiff or literal, losing some of the nuance and humor found in the original Japanese dialogue. Nonetheless, these shortcomings do little to detract from the experience for fans who approach it with the right expectations. NinNinDays2’s greatest strength lies in its ability to deliver a polished, feel-good romantic fantasy that doesn’t overstay its welcome. The combination of expressive art, likable characters, and playful tone makes it a relaxing experience for anyone seeking a short, visually rich romantic story. The fanservice elements, though present, are handled with a balance of humor and tastefulness, aligning with the publisher qureate’s reputation for adult-tinged but charming romantic visual novels. Its pricing also reflects its scope—it’s an affordable, self-contained title that delivers exactly what it promises without unnecessary padding or ambition beyond its niche. In conclusion, NinNinDays2 stands as a well-crafted entry in qureate’s growing catalog of accessible, aesthetically pleasing romance visual novels. It’s a game designed for those who appreciate anime-style storytelling, soft romantic tension, and lighthearted character interaction rather than intricate plot twists or heavy emotional drama. The appeal lies not in surprise but in execution—the comfort of predictable charm, engaging art, and the escapist fantasy of an everyday life shared with two endearing ninja companions. For players familiar with the genre or fans of the original NinNinDays, it’s a delightful continuation that reinforces qureate’s formula while offering a cozy, visually impressive, and gently mischievous experience. Though this one is good, it feels very rushed compared to the first NinNin Days, which is a shame IMO, as I really liked the pacing in the first one. Also the character/relationship building isn't the same as the first one. It feels very rushed and just want's to get from one plot point to the next without any real fulfilling moments of discovering positive character traits of these two cute Ninja Waifu's, Suzuran and Kikyo. It feels like there's more done in the way of Ecchi fanservicing than actual plot points that develop this into a wholesome threesome relationship. Also, constantly bumping into Suimire, the OG Heroine protage-kun in the First NinNin days doesn't' ever feel organic in this story, it feels forced. I'd even venture to say, Sumirie's story is done in the first one, it's pretty obvious the two of them are in a reltionship by this point, there's nothing more to care about IMO with past plots that are done. The relationship building and everyday life is literally skipped, to "And then a couple of days later" whereas the first NinNin days, everyday felt meaningful, in this one, so much is just skipped and important beats to the relationship development takes a major step back compared to the first one. It's a shame. I want to like these characters, and so far I have liked Suzuran, but so little character development between the two, Kikyo and Suzuran, makes both of them feel like incomplete characters. Even once you get to know a little about them then all of the sudden they're all about this story's Protage-kun simply because witnessing "something" between the original Protag-kun and Sumire. It's all just so rushed feeling and not as organic compared to the first. Perhaps I'm supposed to experiece all the options each time to get the full character development, but as it is, it's a very rushed story so far and too busy for it's own good. It doesn't settle down or let you just chill one-on-one with either Suzuran or Kikyo. This story's protagonist feels more like the third wheel friend in the friend group that say's little and you wouldn't notice if they were there or not, so it hit's a little close to home with how much that character trait connects with me... and realising that acting like this doesn't' result in a threesome with cute anime waifu's makes me big sad.
6.5/10
NinNinDays2 is a relatively pure romantic love casual game. The content of the plot is very simple and does not have much depth, and the time to complete the game is also very short, which is suitable for relaxing in your spare time. The game's outstanding points are probably only the ninja setting, Live 2D character animation, and good characters. The music is relatively general, and the voice actors' performances are okay. If you are very interested in the characters or the setting of the ninja, it is recommended to buy it.

I got this game because it was inexpensive and the premise seemed fun, and I figured i'd try it out. The art style is fun, colorful and anime. The voice acting and music are also quite upbeat and help give the world its life... However, the game has a total of 5 choices to make with long stretches of scenes in between. The way some of these scenes are structured leads me to believe the developers wanted to initially put in more choices for the player to make, and I wish they had. The two main endings (there are 3 that I have found) feel like they weren't well earned because i didn't have as many choices to make to influence the outcome. The game is highly playable and enjoyable for those who don't enjoy more skill-based games, but even with all of the different options and combinations of choices you can make, the replay value of the game is, sadly, extremely low. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend the game because of the replay value. However, If you want to get the game after reading this review. That is your choice, and I only hope the choice is a more informed one as a result of reading this review. PS: I prefer the shrine maiden costume... ;)

In comparison to the first NinNinDays, this one improved significantly. Most notably, there's actually some animation to the h-scenes. You still have to download the patch from their website to get the uncensored version but it is well worth, believe me. After unlocking the the entire gallery, I can confidently say that this was well worth the money with it's top tier art. Although the animation could use some work but i'm glad it's done well enough to pose no problems. You honestly don't need to read the first NinNinDays to enjoy this one as the story works on its own. Aside from the very good art, the story is rather nicely put together. It's entirely wholesome and comfy with minimal drama. The two main girls, Suzuran and Kikyō, are both lovable characters with their own distinct character tropes. Suzuran is the adorable naive girl that quickly warms up to you after getting to know her more. Kikyō is the voluptuous "mother-like" character that is sweet but can be quite strict. These two bond quite nicely through their conversations and you get to understand them throughout the story. There's also Sumire as more of a side character but still important to the story. 10/10 Art 7/10 Animation 8/10 Story 9/10 Characters 8.5/10 Experience

I had enjoyed much the first NinNinDays, as well as other qureate games, and this one doesn't disappoint at all, the art is still top tier and the dialogues rather funny, plus there are now 3 gurls, which is a very welcome addition to the female protagonist present from the first. So, this pervy little novel will with no doubt please much busty - and less too - crazy ninja catgurl lovers, our usual clueless dumb hero sure is in for some *big* fun here :)) https://qureate.co.jp/ninnindays2/en/patch/ ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
