Sigh, I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone even on discount. And if you still buy it, remember that the DLCs are a waste of money.
Whoever designed the dungeons thought that backtracking is fun. It got the weakest dungeon experience compared to other modern games in SMT franchise. It's like they just slap preset themes to computer generated maze and called it a day. Even worse, each team members got their own dungeon and all of them are almost exactly the same. And without the DLC, all the BGM you will hear is a boring and slow piano music with no lyric.
The conflict got no weight. It is bland and doesn't give any sense of urgency. . Some story bosses are there just for the fight, with basically no introduction nor backstory that you can find in the game other than them being there from the start somehow.
The only saving grace is the characters and even then they are not that good.
Soul Hackers 2 is not exactly a mess, but it sure is a waste of time and money.

Feels like a horror map made for VRChat, has just random assets everywhere, the only thing that stays consistent is the wallpapers.

Honestly, went into this not expecting much but was thoroughly entertained. English translations could use some freshening up. Excite for chapter 2!
Pros: lots of balls.
Cons: e-girl snatched my soul.

This game was an emotional journey. Fun from start to finish. All the jumpscares were perfectly placed and timed for everything to work out as a perfect game. Beautifully done and keep up the amazing work.

If you like obscure horror games it is fine.
I did not encounter any bugs.
Gameplay is very linear and has some interesting parts. For me it was not very scary.
Translation is awful.
I bought it on sale for about 2€ - for that it is fine.

I have no clue what I just played. This is a very weird, experimental indie-horror game about a family, shady business men and some random religious cult stuff. I believe the game is lost in translation in many ways.
The graphics are average and the sound is average as well. This game isn't scary and the enemies that chase you (especially the babies) are hilariously bad.
There aren't too many Chinese horror games and this is done by one dude so I'll give it a thumbs up. It's bad but I had a good laugh and some fun for 2 hours.

A game created by China. Door-to-door exploration like Layers of fear, Outlast-like chase, Pacify-like ghost, Layers of fear-like setting, mix of puzzles and Chinese dub. In my opinion, this game is not bad

Even though I enjoy horror games, this was not my cup of tea. The game did not work for me as a scary experience. The chase sequences were not that scary, the repetitive billiards puzzles had some atrocious physics. I did like how the game kept me guessing when it was going to end, I am not sure if that is a good or a bad thing...
The voice acting needs more work, the microphones that were used make the characters voices sound hollow.
I did buy it on sale, luckily... this experience was not for me.

Maybe it was all the ayahuasca I chugged before playing but this gets an even *30/10. Glad I have no idea what was going on because it would have just distracted me from the squishy fish, the angry raver chick, and The Blue Man Group's giant baby.
*bonus points for each time I thought it was over and it kept going.
An Absolute Fever Dream from Start to Finish
Oh boy. Have you ever played a game where you just think to yourself like... "WOW. What in the WORLD was this developer thinking when they did this?". That would be this entire game. It's not good in the standard sense that you would expect a game to be good. It's just so insanely off the wall and janky that you can't help but laugh at it. I guess the issue is that I know the developer didn't MEAN for this game to come off that way, but it's how I saw it.
The translations for notes and items is absolutely abysmal and you won't be able to take much from the story to make sense of what is going on. I think even if you understood Chinese and could read the original texts... the game probably still wouldn't really be coherent. That's fine though, the badly translated texts makes for a rip roaring good time reading them in insanely broken English. One note describes the son's hatred of the father and how the son wishes his father an early death in life and he signs it "0 POINTS" which has got to be the funniest thing I've ever read in an insult note. How do you come back from someone just telling you that? It's unintentionally funny.
The puzzles are also absolutely terrible. You have to play billiards some 3 different times to progress the game but it's not normal billiards. One time you just have to side swipe all the balls into the various pockets. Another time you have to swipe different balls into specific pockets while being pursued by a VERY upset ghost or... something. It's honestly an awful time. The last time you have to solve some weird music puzzle that I still can't make any sense of and knock balls into pockets in a specific order.
Nothing about this game is scary besides the number of notes and just the SHEER AMOUNT OF TEXT in this game. You will find a note or two per room and they can be entire paragraphs of badly translated "English" text. They won't help you figure out the story as I said because they are almost completely unintelligible. The cutscenes also don't help much as they are few and far between and usually just consist of you being knocked out and appearing someone else for some reason.
Let's move to my absolute favorite part of this game: Your character model. The devs have seen fit to give you a female character model with absolutely the largest knockers I have ever seen in gaming. Seriously they are so large that if you look down at anything in the game they will be there, just blocking your vision like you are holding two watermelons under your shirt. Probably the best feature of the entire game.
At one point a portal to space opens when you are outside a temple and... your dad is there and he just set you on fire and a space spear shoots through the portal and explodes? I didn't make that up. That really happens. You also get chased by a giant blue baby with a huge head for a while.
This game is an absolute mess and a litany of reasons why you shouldn't do most all of these things in a game but for some reason I was laughing so hard the entire way through that I can't help but recommend it. This developer is obviously just getting their start in making games and.. hey at least it's playable. I am recommending this game on the basis that it's just so hilariously bad that I enjoyed it. Please don't buy this for a story or coherence. Do it for the memes.
tl;dr - Game is so horrendously bad that I had a fun time laughing all the way through.
