Really enjoying it. Scratches the itch since I can't seem to get my real version to the table to play.

As a fan of the physical Dune: Imperium board game, I’m thrilled to say that the Steam version is everything I hoped for—and more. Dire Wolf has done an outstanding job bringing this hybrid worker-placement and deck-building game into the digital realm with care, precision, and a great sense of style. Faithful to the Source The online version captures the essence of the original game perfectly. Every mechanic—from the tension of agent placement to the intricacies of combat and card synergy—is represented with meticulous accuracy. Rules are implemented flawlessly, with tooltips and helpful prompts that make it easy to keep track of complex interactions without overwhelming the player. For newcomers, the tutorial is well-crafted and gets you up to speed quickly, while veterans will appreciate how seamless and true-to-form the gameplay feels. Smooth Gameplay & Strong Presentation Matches move along at a solid pace thanks to the well-optimized UI and clear animations. Everything feels snappy, and the turn structure is intuitive once you’ve played a round or two. The artwork, music, and overall atmosphere really do justice to the Dune universe, adding a rich thematic layer that enhances the strategic experience without being distracting. Great Solo and Online Play Whether you're jumping into a solo game against surprisingly competent AI or challenging friends and strangers online, the experience holds up across the board. Online matchmaking is stable, and there's a robust system in place for asynchronous play—perfect for fitting a game into your schedule without sacrificing depth.

I've really gotten into Dune as of late, never really cared much about it before hand. But here, this game, I thought I would really enjoy this game, and I have spend quite a few hours on a game I ultimately did not enjoy. I find it incredibly frustrating. The game has very, very few settings that you can toy around with the rules of the game, the challenges are the closest thing you get to customization in this regard, the game board is incredibly tiny, and often times you can be locked out of the game entirely by turn 3 just by having poor draws early, there's no real catchup mechanic due to Imperial Row being as random as is it, there's no way to control the random outside of trying for a discard pile, and those, do not work all that well. There's very little control over your odds, and while I do like Card Games and the RNG involved with them, I feel like this game in particular is egregious. But as I said, the largest deficit to me, is definitely the lack of settings, I can't play 12 rounds? I can't play on a larger board which has both Rise of Ix and the original fields? I feel like a majority of the faction leaders are incredibly unbalanced, and not particularly useful, and then there are the top 4 that roll the field if they get even a little bit ahead. I don't hate the game, it's just ultimately not for me. I can see why others enjoy it. Lack of moderation in multiplayer is also atrocious.

It's pretty well spot on to the board game experience. AI could be smarter, they tend to waste combat cards, but otherwise a good challenge depending on the game mode.

Excellently done adaptation of one of this decade's best board games! I've only played one round versus AI so far, but they offered me a decent challenge. I'm not especially good.

Nice, great training for the boardgame. AI not very strong. So real players. but need to get people who actually play.

The best digital adaptation around. Really wish the game allowed friends who don't own the game to join so long as at least one person has a valid copy.
