This one was pretty good! I'd rate it as 4/5. As a fan of psychological horror games, I enjoyed it, but I don't feel compelled to find all the secrets and 100% it. If I hadn't gotten stuck at one part for a while and hadn't been idling at one point, I'd estimate my completion time to be around 3.5hrs, and I'm a fast reader. Pros: [list] [*] Pretty good story. [*] Interesting characters. I found all of them pretty compelling, even if one of them had an unfinished (imo) character arc, so each chapter kept my attention. [*] Lovely art, both the pixel art and the CGIs. I took a lot of screenshots! [*] Cool gameplay concept with the phone. [*] You can replay specific chapters after you've finished the game. [/list] Cons: [list] [*] Last chapter had some convoluted puzzle logic. I was walking in circles for a while and got a bit frustrated. [spoiler]In particular, it didn't occur to me to fill the bucket with goo from the mirror. I assumed I needed to use the goo from the batteries or something...[/spoiler] [*] I didn't feel like the supernatural element worked as well as it could have, particularly because [spoiler]Phoebe's character arc just...ends, and she's the one driving that part of the story.[/spoiler]. [/list] Not sure how to unlock the third ending, but I suspect it's related to figuring out a secret phone number. [spoiler]258 stood out to me as the number of nightmares that Tommy had about his mom. 249 also stood out as the days since someone died. But the phone numbers require 8 digits, so...[/spoiler]
