Great 2nd chapter, really enjoyed playing this. The puzzles vary in how challenging they are, the later ones towards the end of the game really get you thinking. Graphics very good, great atmosphere throughout the game. Very much looking forward to the next chapter.

Amazing game! I had never played these types of games before a colleague from work recommended this one. I bought both chapter 1 and 2 and finished them in the same day without any breaks since I was invested in the story and puzzles so much. I was initially concerned that there would be jump scares because of the vibes in chapter 1, however the games focus on interesting puzzles and building the story of the main character Brian. Definitely recommend both games and can't wait for chapter 3!

I remember enjoying Brian Fisher Chapter 1 so I was delighted to see the story finally continued. It had been quite awhile so I replayed Chapter 1 before embarking on Chapter 2 and that was a good decision. While Chapter 2 is stand-alone, you will get more out of it if you are familiar with the beginning of the story. Brian Fisher is an odd character with a strange story - apparently moving through a space/time continuum in search of his missing father. Chapter 2 picks up exactly where chapter 1 ends. The graphics in the second chapter are dramatically improved. It is a wonderful environment to explore and there is much to look at and interact with. It is presented as an 'escape the mansion' exercise with your ultimate objective to leave the property. You must puzzle your way through, with your progress managed as you retrieve information and objects needed for the next round of puzzles and/or gates. The interface is easy to use, with clear instructions. Although there is a quite a bit of inventory to gather, the game tells you exactly what is needed when an activity requires an object. So, there is no 'try this, try that.' You just need to examine everything, open drawers and cabinets, and be aware of all details that surround you. I enjoyed the narrator's voice and the environmental sounds. Although I typically play with a keyboard and mouse, I found that the controller worked best for me both in terms of movement around the environment and manipulating puzzle objects. Puzzles are a diverse mix of mechanical exercises and those that require finding and interpreting clues. I struggled mightily with one 'gate' puzzle that involved moving 3 objects across a grid with nodes that opened and closed pathways. Other than that, I found clues and had no major sticking points. The level of difficulty was just about right for me. The game auto-saves intermittently and allows you to do an explicit save. However, there is only one save slot so manual saves are over-writing the last auto-save and vice-versa. This gives you the comfort of knowing that your progress is up to date (especially after a lengthy puzzle) but does not give you the chance to return to a specific point in the game.. Completionists are likely to need to play through the game twice (unless you are both speedy and obsessed!). Most achievements are story related but there are a handful that are easy to miss. If you plan to play through more than once, you should consider setting 'randomize' to OFF in the options menu BEFORE starting a new game. Otherwise, any notes you take from your current game will not be helpful the next time through. Despite the delays, kudos to Intetic for a job very well done! This was an excellent continuation of the interesting (but very short) chapter 1. Chapter 2 took me about 10 hours to complete (with way too much time spent on that darn gate puzzle!) If you enjoy mysteries and exploration and don't mind mechanical puzzles, I would highly recommend first playing Chapter 1 and then diving into Chapter 2. I am looking forward to Chapter 3 already!
