I can see that there were some problems in the beginning But now everything is working as it should. However, I'd be even happier if I waited for the 20% discount. Haha ;)

so keeping in mind that this is a small scale game i must say i really like the concept. its like a battlefield game but in medieval times. i must say there are a lott of glitches and you can easily get out of bounds. but its a lott of fun for what its worth

the game isn't fully polished yet but it can improve greatly if devs will work on it. Not to be rude since I have no experience in game dev but there is a bug to which when using archers the bodies of who you kill disappears which kinda makes me abit disappointed by the deaths and the controls are quite janky but I'm sure it'll become better soon

I like archery the most / Another medieval battle game. / ♪ But it's a great time-killer ♪ / I'd put this game in the "one night game" category. 8/10

I keep trying to play the game, even took a small break from last time I downloaded for simple small updates like a keybind menu or how to actually feckin spawn. Seriously. Both times trying to play this game on every map I'm stuck staring at numbers slowly dwindling away until I get a stupid Loss screen, Cant even click menu. Worst of all the Arena mode is just Jank, I spawned holding nothing and when I swap shields I still hold nothing and "Blocking" doesn't block

Alrighty, lets get this out there. While I am proud the developer has pumped out two major updates within the span of a week, I also cannot deny that part of it has come from my own personal feedback. I want to be clear when I say that I know development is hard, especially for a solo dev. And that if I had the ability to leave a "Mixed" or "Meh" type of review, that would be my score for it. Let me start out by saying, I actually had perhaps a bit of fun with the core gameplay loop following the new patch. It is drastically better then what it was previously. Is it enough to tip my opinion. Kinda, sorta, not really. Things definitely feel like they are going in the right direction with this game. that said, I still think they are in that "Not quite there yet" category. But in time, I feel like that might change. My biggest complaints with this game are still the music, and performance. Performance I'm willing to admit could be a rig issue, but seeing as how there are still very few limited options to customize I'll simply leave it as a "Meh." Otherwise, there were good improvements on combat, and the animations feel I'm at least swinging some type of weapon around, and seems that some of my major bugs were fixed so I will say that is also a positive for this game. Truthfully what is really weighing this down from getting a positive review from me is the music, the kinda "Rapid fire updates" and general lack of polish. While I do have high standards, I'm willing to lower them for the indie department, because they don't have the same tools as other studios. That said, there should at least be a level of quality to expect from a developer. If I may address the developer directly, as well as any who might read this review; Give this game a month. A good month of development, as the developer mentioned to me, build a few new maps, perhaps work on a game mode, develop classes or concepts and just work on building that quality of life to deliver a really solid experience, and I think, truthfully, you will have a good game and earn a thumbs up from me. I want to see this game take off. To be something I can say "Hey, I'm proud of this dev for delivering something unlike any other." As it stands, my review will stay up, as it is now for at least the next 1-2 months. I will not be changing anything, unless I notice a substantial change in the game's development. Know that while my review is still negative, that it is truly mixed and that I have no animosity towards the developer at all, or his game.

Game needs alot of work , but if the dev works on it to improve the game then it can be a good game Edit : ( 18/09/2023 ) Game has been updated with new stuffs like the UI has been changed alot, the dev has added stamina bar and health bar, dev also added the sounds that were missing at launch. The weapons have now levels attached to them which is new . There are some issues that still exist but the dev team is committed to fix the issues in coming updates, anyway this is a good step forward in the age of indie devs abandoning the game after release and running away with the money its nice to see a dev who is working on improving the game ! hope to see more improvements to the game like new modes more attacks more maps etc in the upcoming future updates .

This game is honestly very good in my opinion and just to be clear it is currently singleplayer. For $9 it has excellent content. It is safe to say the game accomplishes what it set out to do and the price is very affordable and worth it. I would argue that with some patches and updates it is easily worth more than the asking price. I would recommend this for any player like myself that wants to play multiplayer but with bots instead of actual players. Think Call Of Duty with bots but medieval and larger scale. It has very good controller support which is great for players that do not like keyboard and mouse. Currently the game has a few bugs but every game that releases starts that way. I suggest being patient, reporting any issues, and be objective. This game literally released with far less issues than a lot of higher budget games which is very impressive because some of those 100 million budget and higher games spent years making and testing. This is a $9 game and does not have the budget of Battlefield or something like Call Of Duty. I played about an hour offline to test if an internet connection is needed and I can confirm it is not needed. This is truly an offline battlefield style game. I consider it similar to Lord Of The Rings Conquest and Battlefield. There are currently three classes, working movesets, and the combat is pretty realistic when compared to other games in similar price range. One example is as an archer I can't shoot through friendly units while many higher budget games like Dynasty Warriors allow that. For classes you have a sword and shield unit, a two handed sword unit, and an archer. I love playing as an archer because the actual arrow has realistic drop mechanics. Games like Call Of Duty do not have bullet drops regardless of how far you are while in this game the arrow does drop depending on the distance. I played as an archer for a few games and I believe the accuracy is an accurate depiction of real archery. There is not a zoom option while using the bow and arrow but real archers didn't have that either. There are many other positives to this game. Some others is the scale of the battles and you can choose where you spawn when you capture some locations. The battles are massive and the maps are fairly large. The spawning choices when locations are captured makes it very good for trying to stop advancing enemies. I don't want to spawn at the back of the map when I have several captured locations which thankfully this game doesn't do to you. You can have more than 200 bots but since I use a gaming laptop I only went with 150 or whatever the difficulty mode above normal is. The gameplay is just like described, you capture locations. This is similar to Domination in Call Of Duty. Team deathmatch and maybe something similar to capture the flag could work for this game. For capture the flag maybe capture the crown since it is medieval themed? The graphics I would say are very good for the asking price. I have tried three out of the four maps and found all of them very enjoyable. My biggest issues with the game is that you don't have a viewable map while alive (that I know of), units can not be commanded, team size can not be set without increasing the difficulty, and the AI sometimes stands around idle unless attacked or given around 15 or so seconds but that only happens to a few units. If you have 50 units only about 4 or less usually are inactive but the developer said they will upgrade the AI. I believe the difficulty increases based on the amount of the bots and not the difficulty of the AI itself but that is from an hour of playing. Performance is not something I can really comment on because I have a gaming laptop that has bad cooling. I was able to play with over 100 bots and only experienced a slight lag when all units spawned. This is probably due to my PC because it does not perform as well as a gaming desktop and have proper cooling. I would suggest the developers allow unit squads or maybe a system that allows you to order units. This could make the game a lot better with team based battles because then you can order archers to stay on the walls and launch arrows at the enemy while your soldiers fight the enemies. That is just one example. I completely understand if they do not choose to because Battlefield and Lord Of The Rings Conquest did not allow commanding units. I love this game and I am very thankful for it. Very few games exist that are similar to Battlefield and Lord Of The Rings Conquest. It also reminds me of Ravenfield but that game involves guns. I like having a massive team based game with a medieval theme. The developers said they will continue to support the game so I will continue to follow and play this game. They made a post that says their roadmap and I am excited. I would like to see more classes, maybe a few new modes, and more maps but with the current content it is very enjoyable for me. Probably some features that could enhance the game is a minimap for navigation, gender options (not a big thing considering in medieval times it was mostly men fighting in these wars), and possibly the ability to heal yourself? Realistically speaking you couldn't just eat an item and heal yourself back in the medieval times so if they don't implement a healing system then that is not a bad thing since it is just like in real life. I also would like to see splitscreen to play with my friends and family but as a solo player that prefers bots over real players it is still great. Thank you for your time and patience with my review.
