It just falls flat and isn't worth the cost. Perhaps the creators will take this and create awesome Indie horror games down the road. But for now I feel that this game has cheap jump scares that don't make you jump and I wish there was a sprint/run mechanism.

49 cents of awful. It's too dark and holding an unilluminated flashlight is ridiculous.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljyFd2yydWA I am unsure of the developers mindset when it comes to the store price on this game; perhaps they just don't have a strong sense of the market, or they thought that maybe a game listed at a price that was almost 3 times as much as most other indie horror games would generate enough interest in people to try the game. Nevertheless, even if I enjoyed the game way more than I did (and it's not that I didn't enjoy it, it's totally alright), it's hard to fathom recommending to people to spend 20 dollars on a game that will only last 1-2 hours depending on how often you get stuck. It's a shame because this isn't a bad game, per say. The atmosphere is well done, the building has an identity of its own, and the scares (that range from decent to funny) give the game a good sense of pacing that helps move everything along. Most of the game is of course the usual "find key/code and go to next room," but the developer does a good job with hiding placements to force you and your character to become familiar with their surroundings. I think some of the effect scares could be cleaned up a bit, but beside that I was satisfied with the visuals and the effects. Perhaps the most confusing thing is the story, and by that I mean there isn't really one. The game lists focusing on Anger, which isn't actually a seven deadly sin. I have no idea what Moses has to do with William, James, Smith, and this group of people getting sacrificed or whatever. Then in the 2nd act, you see this violent occurrence play out between two characters throughout a house. Overall, it's a well developed scene which adds a level of intrigue, but it never gets followed up on and you never know exactly what you were looking at. Going vague on details can be a way to garner interest, but you have to give your player something. In my opinion, this game would be better served going all in on this seven deadly sins thing and building the narrative more, or dropping the theme completely and just crafting the story behind whatever is going on with William, Smith, and this random group in the building. Most importantly, I enjoyed playing, but I can't recommend anyone purchasing this for anywhere near $20. I would wager by the lack of reviews coming in since this game's release, I think some other people might agree. I strongly suggest slashing that retail price by at least half, perhaps a full 2/3rd. If you do make any large updates to the game or lower the price considerably, you may reach out to me and I will certainly reconsider my review.
SALIGIA Sucks

There's no other way for me to really put it, this game just isn't very good at all
SALIGIA is ENKA GAMES' first outing, and normally I'd go easy on a developers first game but oh my lord this is a painful one to get through. I absolutely adore terrible indie horror titles because regardless, I'm supporting developers in their hobbies, and it's just fun to joke about the jank when it's evident. The one good thing I can say about SALIGIA is that it gave me a good laugh. This game is a basic asset flip, a lot of what you'll be seeing has been lifted from other, better games. ENKA GAMES had absolutely no issue with lifting assets from What Remains of Edith Finch, (a far superior title under the same genre), and plonking them right into this game. It's utterly shameless and threw any immersion the developer wanted me to feel right out the window. There is nothing remarkable about this games visual style whatsoever, nothing stands out except maybe the final cut-scene, (which is about 10 seconds long anyway.) SALIGIA gives you three difficulty options before playing. Naturally, as I'm an epic gamer, I played on hard mode. This all had me assuming there would be a threat of some sorts. There was none. Maybe item placements were different? No. To save myself the hassle of replaying this game, I watched YouTube videos and again, no. Nothing about the game changes with the difficulty options. Why are they there? You can take damage in this game, from a single scripted jump-scare and fire if you walk into it. The damage you are dealt stays the same on each difficulty also. Battery placement also doesn't seem to be a factor of difficulty as I had more than enough by the halfway point and found myself even willingly dropping them to make room for other items. I don't get this, and it feels like a last minute thought to slap the "survival horror" tag on the steam page. Jump-scares are littered throughout this game like trash in the ocean. There are a lot, they're obnoxious and most of all, they're cheap. Every single one of the sound effects, I'm 90% sure I've heard in other free demos on itch.io In the late game, you can look out the window and see the game's world and where you started. it's hilarious. Quite possibly the most egregious part of this whole experience, though, from everything I've seen, HAS to be the price. I'm aware it got cut by a significant margin, and I did get the game on sale for like $2, but still. Nothing about this experience is worth $9.00NZD. The fact that this game once cost 15 Pounds, ($30.00USD) is absolutely mind blowing to me and cannot be overlooked. Not even with the price cut in mind because it's still not worth it. If you really want to pay $9.00 to slowly meander a mediocre looking apartment, and get "wOOoOoOed" at by some ghosts, just support a local Halloween fair, because this game is a joke in the least funniest way possible. 2/10 Check out my curator page for more stuff: Toasty Reviews

I guess I'm one of the few who enjoyed this game. I got it for $2 on sale and can see why people hated it while paying $15 a year ago. This game is a slow walking simulator that takes over an hour to complete and is riddled with hilarious jump scares. The jump scares made me laugh out loud, especially near the end when the "ghosts" make cow sounds. This game did have some annoying pixel finding moments but overall was straightforward, especially the horrible translation. I get why people hated this game but I liked it, especially for the laughs. Gotta have your intake of cheese once in a while!

Definitely not worth it for the price. Even if it was a little cheaper, there's not many positives that would lead to me recommending it. Save your money and try elsewhere.

So I am only an hour in and will update if my opinion changes as I play more. The game looks and runs great. It gives you a decent horror atmosphere with a few jump scares. The story is a bit strange but intriguing. All of it is pretty good but I just haven't found anything so far that justifies spending $20 on this game. It really is just walk around and look at objects till you find a key that allows you to proceed into the next section. If this was $10 or below I would for sure recommend it but at this time I feel like the price is to high for the content of this game.
