This game is so cooool!!!!
I'm not very big on puzzle games, but this game was very intuitive and well designed and made me feel like a genius beating each level. It's a very satisfying game to figure out. Beating a level then beating YOURSELF beating that level is a very fun mechanic.
The dialogue is well done and you can definitely get into the lore of the game, which I can appreciate.
The music is one of my favorite aspects in the game. It fits each situation and keeps you on edge, or is just chill while you are stuck on a hard puzzle.
One of the best puzzle games out there IMO. Check it out.

Super awesome idea for a game, executed really well, and everything meshes really well together. Get this game if you like puzzles of any kind, it stays really interesting with tons of different ways the game mechanics are used. Super enjoyable, and the puzzles towards the end get super interesting and have tons of layers and require lots of forethought. 10/10 best puzzle game I have ever played!

Of the several thousand hours I have logged playing video games on steam, few have been as enjoyable as the ones spent playing Redux. Although I often enjoy the expeditious nature of first person shooter games such as Counter-Strike, Redux offers a gratifying remedy to the frustration gathered from the fast-paced flurry of ups and downs brought from shooter games. If you’re anything like me you will worry about the inevitable bore of puzzle games, but take my word, Redux WILL NOT disappoint!
A concept like no other, Redux stands out in the puzzle genre with a fascinatingly unique core mechanic to the gameplay. Sure, you’ve seen a game about time travel, but I assure you haven’t seen it done this well. Perhaps the best part about this design is the inherent competitive nature baked into the mechanics of the game: overcoming the challenges of a level in such a precise manner that you will be able to outplay your previous attempt. An incredible game design with superb execution makes for a fantastic way to spend some hours.
Grab your thinking cap, because you’re going to need it. The puzzles will surely have you bewildered for a while, so kick back and enjoy the music (more on that later) while you scratch your head and try new techniques. The puzzles only become more baffling as new layers of Redux are added, requiring some serious forward thinking. This game stimulates your mind in unusual and thrilling manners, where you are literally thinking 3 moves ahead. When a perplexing level is solved, however, you will feel brilliant and accomplished, and that feeling is definitely worth the struggle.
Going along with the ingenious level design is the captivating story of the game, which keeps you hooked as you have further incentive to solve the puzzles that lie ahead. The lore behind the game is very well written, and spotting clues from information panels provides a puzzle within itself to unlock the secrets of the Great Nation.
Yet, what really ties this game together is the music, so grab your headphones and enjoy an elegant soundtrack. Whether you are deciphering a difficult level, or darting through the halls of Seward Base, the music adds a fitting complement to the scenario. Overall terrific OST and sound design.
I HIGHLY recommend you buy Redux, as you will not regret it. Hats off to Yodasaurus Games, a one-man operation, for beautifully piecing together every aspect of this game.

Probably my favourite 2D puzzle game I've played! The concept is very cool, and leads to some clever puzzles that really gives you a sense of satisfaction when you finally complete them. It's a great difficulty, starts simple and gets hard enough to make you scratch your head for a while, but it's still very doable. The story really adds to the game and encourages you to keep trying.
Overall, If you enjoy puzzle games, this is definitely worth your time!
