[i] My Experience [/i] [b]Cliché Adventure[/b] seemed like a low-budget "Link to the Past-like" that I could play in co-op, so I decided to pick it up and give it a shot with a friend. You can tell that developer Taylor Robinson has put a tremendous amount of work into the game, and I located a YouTube video from him giving a "behind the scenes" look at the game that underscores this point. But unfortunately, I had more fun listening to him discuss various aspects of the game than I did playing the game itself. Fighting the enemies in the game just didn't feel good - my hits didn't feel like they had any impact, compared to how enemies flash and are pushed backwards by your sword strikes in [b]Link to the Past[/b], and I think I would prefer a bit more obvious "collision detection" when enemies ran into my character in the game. My co-op partner and I also fairly quickly got lost in a cave system, before we decided to move on to another game. There is likely fun to be had with [b]Cliché Adventure[/b], but potential players may need to lower their expectations a bit (lower than I was willing to) before diving in.
