Kinda slow at first but there's a deep meta. Yoink strats are strong but you can't yoink frozen targets. Mid game you'll see heavy hibernate builds to counter yoink. Then you'll run into ice breaker. Your team will have to be able to handle all of it to progress.

Ok game.. needs some tlc from dev though.. first off you cannot see any freeze, burn, stuns etc how long are they? no clue no timers anywhere or any indication..chests really need to be clicked 1 time to open update as is like 8 or 10 times clicks are required which is super annoying...rest of game seems ok so far.. will modify review as I play more seems a bit grindy to get gems to upgrade things so not very far yet I don't think.

[h1]Gameplay: 7/10[/h1] [h1]Graphics & Sound: 8/10[/h1] ✔️ Fun little auto-battler, pretty easy to understand, but with an unexpected teambuilding depth. ✔️ Adorable graphics. ✔️ Can easily be played while doing something else. ❌ No native Steam Cloud save - you need to manipulate the files to access your online save from different places (see the community hub discussions for details). ❌ I would have enjoyed to have the possibility to save team "presets", so that I don't have to remake everything from the ground if I want to try another party composition. Sadly it isn't possible. ❌ Some other minor UX issues. ❌ The game crashes once in a while, or has display problems. It doesn't bother me too much since most of the time restarting the game solves the issue, but still. ❌ The descriptions would have benefited from being more complete - especially for special effects such as poison, freeze, etc. ❌ No real narration efforts, some additional contextualisation, even though not necessary, would have been appreciated. I definitely recommend this game as something fun and lighthearted to play on lunch breaks for people who enjoy doing character builds in video games.

It isn't bad; nor is it good. It kinda just is... Mechanically it is as interactive as most clicker/idle games, but you can't just run it in the background and forget about it either. The auto feature only removes about 80% of the clicks you need to do to earn your rewards, meaning that you constantly have to check back on it. This pulls away just enough attention that it prevents itself from neatly sliding into the niche other idle games have, but isn't substantial enough to actually reward the time spent paying attention to it. The only reason I have put as many hours into as I have is just because I've committed myself to getting all the achievements. As for the actual strategy, it's fine. There are a fair number of fun builds to toy with, but there is a clear, singular, dominant strategy at the end of everything. At that point, it is just a matter of grinding until your stuff is better than their stuff.

really great game and concept! I don't play many games for nearly this long I wish the progression was unlimited somehow though.. it seems lightning spam covers most top spots? I have one concept strategy that may work but I don't think the math will add up properly to counter lightning in the end... unlimited progression would just mean that, it would take an exponential amount of time to counter meta strategies (i think?)... (maybe a constantly shifting meta?) just a thought though, it may be tough to implement awesome game anyways though! definitely worth (more than) the price! I hope to see more games like Beastrun from sokpop! :D
