During my review's initial posting, I was still going through the common route and had a good amount of enthusiasm for the game already! As of the latest edit, I've finished the game and the DLC (but this review will not account for the DLC).
The Good:
- I found most characters delightfully charming (heroine included) and enjoyed the dynamics they shared with other characters.
--> The heroine really shone in some of the routes and breathed life into the interactions with the male leads. I especially enjoyed seeing how she handled a male lead who was trying to push her away and the part where she teased a male lead freaking out over a cockroach had me breaking out into a smile.
- In some of the routes, the romantic developments were satisfactorily executed and I found the interactions between the heroine and the male leads enjoyable to read.
- The art was beautiful.
- Minigames can be skipped from the second time round by clicking on the various result icons to get the desired result which is a great time-saver. You do not need a perfect score to be able to select the perfect result second time round (i.e. even if you get zero marks, you can just reload a save to be able to select the best result the next time round).
- The first ending took me by surprise because of how abrupt the tale ended but having finished all the routes... I could see why things unfolded as they did and the plot points were nicely connected (with details sprinkled in extra contents as well). I also thought the foreshadowing was quite well done with regards to some plot reveals.
- Some routes were tastefully tragic.
The Hmm:
- The translation definitely could be improved but I still enjoyed the game. Do note that I played in English only initially and then made the switch to Chinese so my experience of the game is not done in the language of this review. *I switched to Japanese at times when the Chinese translation reads unnaturally. If you're fluent in Japanese but not Korean, I would recommend Japanese language for the best experience.
- A few of the bad ends left an unpleasant after taste.
- Some of the transitions in the story felt a tad awkwardly paced.
- Some routes were not as entertaining but this isn't unique to this particular game.
- Some of the non-locked routes can feel a tad repetitive (but this is a character driven game so I still enjoyed the character interactions for the most part).
The verdict: This game had me enamoured and I will heartily recommend this game to most people looking to try an otome game with a solid cast of characters and cautiously recommend it to those who prefer stellar translations but can still appreciate less than stellar translations.

First of all, I loved the story, the routes are bitter sweet mostly, although some are so sad they're heart breaking, others will heal that feeling. Overall I enjoyed the game a lot, the art is gorgeous and it's hard to stop reading. Also enjoyed there being minigames, which is something I haven't seen often in otome games.
That said, a wider variety of minigames would have been nice.
Also, the translation is pretty bad... unfortunately, even though the game is entertaining, the weird expressions and grammar, spelling errors and typos are too many to count, so be ready for that.
After you finish a route (good and bad endings), you unlock a file to listen to the LI say SOMETHING... unfortunately they didn't bother to translate or subtitle that... at least a separate pdf would have been nice... I paid for this game as much as a korean did and I can't understand anything.
However the game is very enjoyable, prepare tissues and your heart and you will love it despite its faults.

I thought this was going to be a lighthearted romance VN but I was completely wrong once I hit Simyeon's route. The story completely changed for me then, The localisation is a bit lacking so yes there is some issues with the english but if you play a lot of VN's I didn't think it was bad enough to completely ruin the game and I didn't notice it so much the further into the game I got {probably because I found the story engaging and less that there weren't errors there). I bought this on sale but I would have gladly paid full fee for Simyeon's route alone. Very touching and emotional!

I am dreaming of The Cloud Dream of the Nine
I was very excited when I finally got this game and it didn't disappoint. I have played this game for over 61.8 hrs, and have enjoyed every minute of it. Each character has their own story, but all the characters are intertwined. How many games are there where you have 9 beautiful men to chose from. I really like Wol and his story, but it is really hard to decide which one is your favorite. The VC's are great and all are very sexy. Kyungwoon, I just love the way he expresses himself, I keep going back just to listen to his voice and all the VC voices. The music and graphics are beautiful. I enjoyed the mini-games, especially the musical parts.
Now that I have completed my review, I can't wait to fall asleep to dream of my CLOUD DREAM OF NINE. Sweet dreams everyone.

If you are thinking about buying this game, DON"T. The constant crashes, and grammar mistakes will make you immediately regret your choice.

I recommend this game as soon as the translation is fixed.
Pros:

The game is really addicting, the art is beautiful and all the characters are incredibly lovable.

The plot of the game is exciting, it is a tiny bit repetitive as it goes around the same events, but the writers still managed to make it diverse.

The OST is captivating, I had to buy DLC because I liked it so much.

The MC is not a doormat, she is strong and quite smart.

Chungwoon

Cons:

The translation is terrible, it needs to be fixed, if you are picky about translation, you won't enjoy the game.

Mini-games are not too fun. Because of the terrible translation making poems on Normal mode is impossible - it's hard to read and react fast, I had to switch to easy where you are getting a hint. Rhythm game is also too hard without a real reason.

OST DLC while very beautiful is costly for something that can only be played in game and needs to be played manually.

Last route could have had more CGs, it looks a little rushed, had a lot of potential, but didn't deliver.

I'm really enjoying this game. It has a ton of Cg's and the artwork is great. Nine RO's is a huge undertaking, especially for the price. It was a little glitchy, but nothing I couldn't get past using skip or autoplay. I've completed two routes so far. The translation isn't perfect, but they never are. Despite the translation and editing issues, the text is easy to understand and not too distracting.
I couldn't get save or load to work and was forced to use quick save throughout the game. Which meant that if I exited the game and wanted to get back to where I left off I had to start a new game then hit "continue" to load the quick save and get back to where I left off.
Honestly, I'm not sure that the save/load is even broken. I may just be a ding dong that can't figure it out XD
Basically, the game is imperfect, but completely playable. For it being an early access game, I'm thoroughly satisfied.

I have only played 30 minutes of this and I can't read it. I am sorry but the English translation is very poor, they need to hire an actual English translator because there are so many grammar mistakes and weird sentences that a native English speaker will have trouble with. Also I have no clue on how to actually save the game and access the games menu while reading. For most to all VN's you can usual press escape or something and access a menu to see your saves and other things; this game has no option for it. I really hope they polish this game more, in it's current state it shouldn't have even come out. This game needs bug fixes, a better English language translation, and just more optimization to how the menu works. It's really sad that it's in a bad state, I would have loved to enjoy it but I can not get past these issues. And I will not be able to stand to read broken English for the whole game because apparently it is a decent length.
