Best platformer from flash glad it's back on Steam

I remeber playing the original flash versions when I was little and this collection is just what I needed to have those memories again. Can’t wait for the extra game modes to release. When is that by the way?

an absolute must play for anyone who enjoys fast paced platforming, killer music, or flash games. Really excited to see what content gets added, hoping for world 1 remix to get added! killer stuff all around

I hate to leave this a negative review, since I love this franchise and the newer games are some of the best 2D platformers, but this collection, specifically world 3, should NOT have been released in the state that it's in right now. World 3 is straight up barely playable in the current state it's in.

i mean hey its fancy pants, i love fancy pants, but the entire point was that there was new content and that they would fix 30fps on the 3rd world, their last update was march 2024. Until they fix all of that stuff that they promised, can't help but to feel scammed.

Unfortunately after about a year of being released, I just can't recommend the game as is now. For one thing, I played the demo before this released and it promised so many features that I was excited about as someone who played the original flash games years ago. The remastered world 2 level and the back pages were both really awesome to go through when I first played the demo. And then the early access had none of that. Instead what we have now are just the classic versions of worlds 1-3, no remasters or other special features mentioned in the steam page or demo. On top of that, world 3 still isn't feature-complete yet as it is still locked to 30fps. I usually dont mind the framerate in most games, but going from 60 to 30fps gameplay really feels off. Updates for early access haven't been very frequent either, as the last update that came out was a bug patch that released in March of 2024, so about 11 months before this review has gone up. I'm sure that at some point there will be a lot of great improvements, but it seems like you're going to be waiting a very long time for that to happen. So at this point I would just hold off on it. One other thing I just remembered now, playing through world 2 has made me remember how much I absolutely hate hitting those snail shells into the correct holes. If you're not careful even tapping the shell a little bit could send it flying harder than you want it to.
