A very good sequel, not sure how this flew under my radar until now. Everything I didnt like about the original is not present here. You arent confined to a school where everything looks the same, you dont have one dull chaser. Theres a lot of action and variety going on here, from locations to the enemy designs. I feel conflicted about this one. I liked the first game. This sequel is seemingly a technical improvement on everything in the first game, yet I didn't enjoy it as much. I think it's all down to my personal preferences and pet peeves. I like how the game looks, the reverse fisheye - I got used to quickly this time (and it's contextualized; thumbs up), proper attention to detail, the gore's great, the way everyone died in the hospital is downright fantastic. I don't think the story and the storytelling are as interesting. It's really more of a sci-fi story covered in paranormal wallpaper. You're also revealed 90% of what's happening within the first 5 minutes so there's no mystery about it. As far as I can tell the game doesn't end, it just stops. The computer game is a bizarre choice for the final puzzle. Key locations are too small and similar. There's a big room, a U shaped hallway, and 10 or so smaller rooms you can enter. Having a map for the city is good but having maps for each key location just makes them seem even smaller. It doesn't feel like I'm exploring them, it feels like I'm speedrunning a Silent Hill locations compilation. I probably spent more time outside than I did inside. I would've much preferred size over quantity. Elongated walks through an endless void, or falling and drowning for 3 minutes with no required player input isn't my kind of jam. I think I had performance issues in those parts. For some reason they took twice as long as they did in a walkthrough I watched afterwards. I love this game. great visuals and style that if you can get a grip on does a great job getting the spooks. its a short and sweet game, ideas put forward are chilling and oppressive, basic style is still detailed in its implementation and surprisingly thought out. there are little additions that only show up for a few seconds and it keeps you on your toes and impress with there inclusion. this feels like a flash game made by a AAA experienced indy developer. its alot like silent hill in its progression where there are secrets, the progress is in exploration and it is willing to be appropriately aggressive when its required.

This is a message to the developer, please, please, please get rid of the "unique camera perspective" of this game. It makes navigating confusing, it makes me feel sick, and its a huge flaw that is stopping this game from being good. i thought I'd give it a try cause it looked cool. For the short time I played i had to play in windowed mode and even then it was very disorienting. I tried to like it, i really did, but until the effect on the camera is either adjustable or removable I cant continue to play.
