pretty interesting and unique tower defense game, pretty hard at times (at least for me) with many different options and items to make each run unique in some way.

Just play the demo x10 times in a row and you'll have the same experience as playing through the game. The RNG is Not on your side.
"Roulette" where you can't lose!
A simple eye-pleasing game that will help you spend a couple of hours of free time without stress.
He-he...
Game is fine but it seem not to be further developed. Last update was a year ago.

need to get further!! maybe add a perk that lets you either re-roll the mods or spend the blue shards for some other 1 time perks, or adds another choice for perks so you can more easily get a build going. But there is a chance that it might already be in the game and i just haven't met the person to do so

An unexpected hidden gem. When I first started it up, I was a little pissed, to be honest, when it appears to be pure RNG, has only one tower and has random, but constantly repeating levels. Turns out, the more you play it, the more of everything the game will introduce to you, including many of the TD staples we take for granted. The impatient will find nothing here for them as they would have already refunded the game before they discovered more things, but the patient will be rewarded, and handsomely. Will continue playing the game.

Gameplay is slow, repetitive, and leaves you almost completely at the mercy of RNG. Cutscenes and dialogue are often slow, unskipable, and repeat often.

I've been playing for a while and really have been enjoying this game Here are some things to note if you plan on buying this game: pros: -There is some really good storytelling and lore you can figure out as you progress through the stages and talk to the many NPCs +The rogelike style with tower defence is a rare genre and TD World's take on this is by far my favourite. +Every run is unique and the game has plenty of room for expansion +The demo shows really well how the game is/feels so try it, and if you feel more content is worth 11$, buy it! cons: -This is a roguelike, and like most roguelikes it depends a lot on RNG -The progress is a little slow, and a full run can take upwards of 30 minutes (you can save mid run though) -Late game is a lot more repetitive, yet you still feel like you are progressing, even though you are at a standstill. A game I very much enjoy and plan on keeping updated with. A perfect game when you are bored and feel like wasting time. Plus it doesn't require full attention most of the time so you can watch a movie while playing! Jokes aside, the soundtrack is phenomenal and I am looking forward to new worlds to conquer.

Mobile game busy work, replaying the same levels over and over, only 1 tower to build, many levels have "surprise" waves requiring you to mind read rather than plan or adapt.

I was hooked on this game when it appeared during the Steam Next Fest as a demo. It had some interesting ideas, and gave you enough meta progression to keep you playing. However, the full game is a thorough disappointment and horribly balanced. Everything is RNG based, so there's no real way to plan or prepare what comes your way, as opposed to most TD games. In one of the updates, the dev said they added an adaptive difficulty system, so the better you do, the harder the game gets. Except, there is No way to predict how well you'll do. There is no real way to power up your towers from run to run, and have to hope you roll tower upgrades, and hope you roll a good fire rate one, because the games loves to throw waves of small enemies at you. So if you win, the game will try and drive you into the ground next time, with no real way to counter it due to the RNG. The progression is Extremely grindy, you basically have to choose between going to a level that gives you two points for meta progression, or going to a level for tower upgrades so you can maybe get more levels in. The problem with this is, it might look like you're doing great, you've got a bunch of tower upgrades in, and Bam, a surprise wave wipes you out. Back to square one, and all that time is literally wasted. If you go just for the meta progress points, the upgrades are barely worth it, and are mostly upgrades to health. There is the research system, where you kill a certain amount of enemies and it gives you a buff, but that buff is usually tiny and only applies to certain situations. You have the armory, where killing a boss will give you One token, to use for One run, to give your towers a special ability like chain or AoE, but also a pretty massive debuff, such as -30% fire power or fire rate. If the RNG gives you no good tower upgrades, the run can be quickly over, and there goes that token, back to square one. Lastly, you get to choose 4 tower types, a basic one and three others. Anything apart from the base one has such large downsides as to make them completely not worth it, since you have no way to plan what kind of enemies will appear. Overall, give this game a pass. It's full of baffling design choices, it's horribly grindy, success mostly depends on RNG, and it just gets pretty repetitive and boring.
