One of the best WarioWare-like games. Very creative 56 mini games. A hidden gem!

A fun & wacky PC Warioware like game. It's got a great variety of games, which are all controlled with a single button. You can play through them in sequence or random with the meta story connecting everything. That story is very light, but also suitably crazy. The game also has a fun in-game hint book to help you understand them and get all the achievements. That along with practice sessions are nice QOL features.

So, I'm not sure how I feel about the one-button control scheme, I don't think I've ever played a game where a limited amount of buttons hasn't hindered the design of the game in some way, and while this game isn't really an exception, the difference is that this game squeezes every ounce of potential it can out of that control scheme, and creates a 'Warioware-like' where scrambling to figure out how each minigame controls is very rarely a problem. There were definitely some minigames where I wished I had more buttons, and navigating menus is way slower than it should be due to having to hold down every option, but I can definitely see and appreciate what they were trying to do with it. I love the 'Gauntlet' approach to this game where every minigame contributes to one massive challenge you'll spend the whole game trying to beat. And, heck, it's awesome that you don't even have to complete that challenge to see the credits. It feels like a very innovative way to approach a Warioware-like, which, as a genre, always struggles with very short game runtimes. This game's humor is also on-point, I would say it out-wariowares warioware.

Warioware for your PC where all the game work on a single button. just like the game it is inspired from , Super 56 picks the games are in a random sequence and each time you get a short level to play , that you win or fail each game , Super 56 move to the next game but failing mean you lose a life. you win , you get to play for longer , simple , just like the old game the point is to do your best and keep trying to get a better score. the games are simple yet the very short time limit on each game make is what make it a challenge.

A goofy fun warioware like mini game collection. The story is great, love the characters. Mini-games are surprisingly varied considering they all only use one button. Intro cutscene has a lot of charm too. I won't spoil too much about the story but there are some really funny one-liners in there. Music gets a bit repetitive over the 5ish hours it takes to beat this game. I got it on sale for 3.50$ and it is definitely worth that price. My favorite minigames I'd like to see expanded into full games are the cat roomba minigame and the animal crossing meets seaman minigame. If you're looking for another game with a bunch of games inside I'd recommend UFO 50 or the Sega master collection. Also there's another warioware like in development called Mindwave I can vouch for. In conclusion this was a really fun little game with a surprising amount to do/achivements. Definitely recommend but probably wait for a sale. It reminded me of playing classic xbox live indie games on the 360.
