Go careful. Luckily I bought this discounted. Had I have bought it at full price I would have been incensed. When you buy this you're paying for the ability to play hitman. You then have to buy different parts to actually play the game. All this purchase provided you with is a tutorial and a start screen.

I bought this game and now it's telling me to buy the game again? What kind of company makes me pay twice to play the same game? All I want is the full game, but apparently I "didn't buy it". All I'm asking for is the game without needing to pay twice. Please IO, fix this.

didnt realise i wasnt buying the whole game but rather a tiny portion of it and the rest of the game is locked behind paywalls i cant even open because they're delisted from the steam store :/

Why the hell do I need to buy 4 editions to play a fucking single player game? Ridiculous.

I was one of the suckers that bought Hitman 1 and Hitman 2 and now I have to buy them all over again. Then I bought the base game (world of assassination) on sale and it doesn't even include Hitman 2. levels. It makes you buy the deluxe version. But I won't be doing that because selecting different missions and maps make the game crash and has not been fixed in a decade so as much as I loved the previous Hitman games I won't be buying anymore.

I got suckered in by the "-90% off" at first. Don't be fooled; do your research on this one. This is the first time I've reviewed a game without giving the gameplay a fair shot, but here goes: I installed this just to leave a review to tell IOI to go !@#$ themselves for this game's egregious monetization. !@#$ you for making me think I was actually buying most of the game when I guess I just got part ($30 for an inferior version of the game and they want $70 MORE for the full game), !@#$ you for not making it EVEN CLEARER and easy for people to buy/gift and play your game, and more importantly !@#$ you for splitting this into 4 versions plus 13 DLC (half are hidden/buried) plus Deluxe Pack purchases, and most importantly !@#$ you for not listening to your community and making this scummy !@#$ right. Just look at the !@#$ing reviews for nearly every piece of content associated with this game. What the actual !@#$ is with this Part One bull!@#$? Just have three versions of the game and make ALL DLC available to purchase separately. Stop making your returning/loyal/upgrading players pay for content they've already purchased. I've been trying to buy a more-or-less "complete" version of Hitman 3/WoA for years, and I hear amazing things about Freelancer mode, but I couldn't give a !@#$ after this buying experience and seeing what your other customers have to say. I'm sorry to the talented artists and programmers who clearly made a great game sadly buried in overly monetized anti-consumer business practices, making for one of the worst buying experiences in the industry, up there with EA, Ubisoft, and ActiBlizzKing.

10/10 game, motivated me to assassinate my geography teacher

The process of buying this game is more confusing then beating it, only buy World of Assassination, NOT World of assassination PART ONE.
