wow cant remember to have so much fun shapeshifting i would recommend stating with custom class include the summoner class and the pyromancer for spells even usable when mounted or to enchant the various found melee weapons. for defense i took the barrier for frequent have not tried the healer yet but some barriers can also have offensive uses as long the early pyromancers is rather short ranged. my summons are much better of targeting enemy ranged mobs that i am and allowed me to survive when underpowered and unaware of best tactics when have chosen to increase difficulty for better loot and tried the repeateable quest to farm xp to level up. was very surprised to use the lorry waggon to reach places you cant reach elsewhere. mounted combat is great though i mostly mount to jump farther and need more skill points to really be effective with it bur need to focus to train the best masteries first to use breath or spit attacks when shapeshifted against the fireflies. overwhelming options to build up a jversatile toons but luckiy you got more skill points to upgrade beastmastery than the single points for 3 class segment after each level. virtually very different playstyles was to afraid that my level 7 custom class moght get overwritten to try a second toon which would test devotee healing abilties as been mounted and able to cast healing frequently than once a few long coollldown of a low level barrier passive healing. as like to fight as a battlemage i focus on stablitly and battery from the beginnung the game needsa lot of time to get some gear to enhance the various abilties you will stumble upon. also can safely zoom in while looking for read dots closing to summon your escort and than shapeshift to train beastmastery later with more devolept pyromancer segment mounted spellcastery might become glorious maybe will test a respect before i my overwrite my custom class to replace the barriers with heals for more comfort and less dying very early whenoverwhelmed when low on level. hidden gem but lacking a lot of toon customisation cant even change the hear clor to ginger aslo good transmog though i ony had found scale armor and it looks very purple instead of golden at least when using the benovelent footsteps. just open the map and explore anything some few will provide a permanent attribute bonus as well. very likely i need a week to understand tripleclasssystem on first toon run. very unique playstyle even when only isometric and toon is still tiny when zoomed in and have not found much fashion eyecandy have not tested coop so far as soloing when partily summoner is much more challenging before ypu can summon more of them for a longer time.

It's an RPG with shapeshifting! That alone makes it right up my alley. So few games have shapeshifting and so few do it well. This game does an excellent job at its premise. I do wish I could have multiple creatures equipped at a time so I can switch between them though.

I am saddened that I can't give this game a positive review. I really wanted to like it, as the concept of an ARPG where you can transform into animals seemed really great on paper. In practice, I finished the game with a feeling of disappointment. I sat with that feeling before writing this review, but it lingered. The game is rather short for the price. Even taking my time, completing all side quests, and wandering around lost a several of the game's less directed areas, I still came it at about 12 hours to roll credits. The camera and lighting caused exploration and combat to at times be hampered not by skill, but the environmental effects. Additionally, questionable design choices padded the game time by imposing arbitrary blocks. Half of my combat time was spent waiting for a stamina bar to refill to be able to do anything, even basic attacks. Light bridges that were invisible and gave no in game indication of where they were caused me to fall to my death repeatedly. Overall, while elements of the game were fun, the flaws that stand out make me hesitant to return to the game with my co-op partner, and I am left with mixed feeling from my solo playthrough.
