Don't. Just don't.
I paid £0.71 for this 3 years ago but only just got round to trying it out.
As far as I can tell, you're supposed to go around and collect coins while an enemy tank tries to kill you, then use the coins to upgrade your tank, rinse and repeat.
You have a gun turret, but I haven't found a way to aim it. It's not fixed forward, it's sort of towards the enemy - but not actually at them, that would let you hit them. You do have a sort of barrage shot that sprays projectiles in a direction, but again there doesn't seem to be a way of directing this, and it's on maybe a timer or else it's a one-shot. In any event, it's no help.
I fluked one victory to get through to the second level, but that doesn't get you enough points to upgrade anything, and the second level has two tanks shooting you and at that point I lost interest.
Maybe I'm just bad at this game, maybe there's something I missed, but there's no tutorial, no instructions, no onscreen hints, so I fumbled around for ten minutes and then decided not to waste any more time on it. I'm only writing this because it currently is priced at over seven quid, and I don't want to risk other people paying that much to learn my lesson.

The name speaks for itself! Fantastic! In general, the game is quite casual. It is clear what needs to be done from the first seconds. At maximum settings, it was made pretty. I think the developer needs to do more work on the fonts.

Quite good overall, Tank Fantastic is an indie arcade game made in 2.5D graphics and Sci-Fi style.
In the game you have to control your own tank and destroy enemy tanks before they destroy you. During the battle, you will collect coins along the way, which you will need to improve the various characteristics of the tank in the store in the menu.

Uhhhhh... Not so much on the "Fantastic" part.
Top down tank game in sort of mild maze areas with some limited destructable terrain. There, that's out of the way.
I can see the game that the developers thought they were making. I can. But it's well hidden under some really poor design choices and what I can only assume are unintentional glitches. Sadly, the whole is less than the sum of the parts. The play loop of get blown up and collect a few coins till you can move fast enough to dodge the insta-kill (till you seriously upgrade your health) shots is just not enough. They lean too heavily on the idea of getting killed and upgrading to get to the next level to be any fun. Like I said, I can see where they may have thought they were going. Alas. They did not get there.
I mentioned glitches. Yes. Specifically the fact that your health bar rotates with your tank and um... well it stays with the tank but does not seem to know where, in relation to said tank, it wants to be. I can't concieve that this was intentional.
So far as poor design choices... There are a few. I won't bore you with to many details but it's never a good idea to put a GUI element, especially a large one, in a position over the play area where it might be hiding your tank or others.
I bought this thing for $0.99 American. Eh... it was mildly amusing for about 20 mins. I figure I could go through 4 quarters in an arcade in 20 minutes... on a below average day. So I'm not upset. I wouldn't pay more than that for this.
Would I recommend this game? Sorry. Nope.
