I like to gamify my fitness experience. Burnit Quest is a great addition to games in this tradition like Wii Fit, Zombies, Run!, Ring Fit Adventure, Knockout Home Fitness, Fitness Boxing, Beat Saber, etc. Play style is most like Ring Fit Adventure. You take on the role of the hero and use exercises to advance from one stage to the next as the story unfolds. You can collect currency to unlock skills in a skill tree that will affect your abilities in the campaign mode. Unlike RFA, a 2nd player can join you with limited ability for the campaign (think Tails in Sonic the Hedgehog 2). There is a Versus Mode where you can directly challenge a 2nd player in local co-op mini games. My kids love that they can play with me as player 2. I haven't tried out the Endless Run mode, but I bet it's great for cardio. Exercises in the game include walk/jog/run in place, punching, squats, jumping jacks, and sit-ups. None of these are rigorous on their own, but if you aim for at least a 20-30 minute gaming session and put some effort in, you CAN get a cardio burn. Especially on stages that are heavy on running and squats. I tried casting the game from my laptop to my TV via Chromecast. Having a bigger screen was nice, but it definitely introduced some lag. Since then I have just been using my laptop set up in a safe place. I'm happy having paid $15 for the game, but know in advance that it is still being worked on. Sometimes the smartphone controller is a bit wonky and moves don't register the way you expect. Devs do respond to bug reports and have plans for improvements/content updates.

Great game. It's so hard to find fitness that are I can both exercise and have fun! Every stage is a different adventure with new forms of exercise.

I really wanted to like this game and to some extent I do, but the most important part of the game, the controller via the phone app, just gave me too much trouble no matter trouble no matter what I did to calibrate my phone, a Google Pixel 6. Whether it was my character constantly stopping while running or swimming, incorrectly reading my jump attempts or randomly throwing unintended punches, my constant battle with the controls made it hard to appreciate the art style, music or level design, all of which are quite good. But because the controls resulted in impeded progress, missed collectibles and and even character deaths, I can't recommend this game even though I really wanted to like it; hopefully there can be a way to improve upon it in the future.

gave it an honest try but it didn't work at all. The app would connect and I could press buttons on it but no movement I did would work, I have a decently garbage phone so it might be my fault but i'm still not going to waste 15 bucks on a game I can't play. I even tried using the apk but it wouldn't even load correctly. looks like a quality game though

A fun way to get introduced to an exercise routine! My wife and I have been playing from time to time and it helps on rainy days. Depending on your phone you might need to do some extra steps to make sure it works, the community has some topics about this.

This is a fun and creative side scrolling platformer with some really cool aerobic exercises thrown in to work up a sweat. There are collectibles, multiple paths and an endless runner mode for those who want more dedicated workouts for indoors. The controls can be a little off at times, but dont let that put you off. I cant wait to play more of this game!

I was first expecting an indie version of RingFit Adventure, but it's hard to compare because this game is so unique! It's focused on long running sequences and minigames in-between the story. The art feels very unique, full of energy, CUUUTE characters. I can also see kids liking it because of the overall mood and - the amount of energy you put into it- SERIOUSLY. I was sweating at the second stage. Connecting the controller has its hiccups, It worked for me but not from my friend's phone. The Devs always respond to questions and recommended some tricks like turning airplane mode on with the wifi, to avoid conflicts with data. Once it's connected, the game is well responsive and I had such great time on my workout! Definetely nice for warmups and keeping you engaged.

Really fascinating fitness game! But I hope the interactive experience can be improved: 1. The character always stops a little later than I stop. It cool for a normal game, but in a fitness game it makes people impossible to control the character accurately. 2. Jump is sometimes detected as walk at first, then the character missed the chance to get a loot or throphy. It reduces the feeling of achievement incredibly. 3. Game settings can not be saved. Every time I log in, I need to lower the music volume. Currently I can get the idea of game and find it could be great. But the points I mentioned drive me crazy....

Do I recommend this game? Hell yes. It's quite a challenging game, especially until you get the hang of things. (skills, actions,..etc) It has features like roguelite with a fitness game. It’s not just a fitness game, but it has an adventure. It’s a big fun way to add a little excitement into your workout.
