I really enjoyed this 1st-person adventure game. Really like the ambiance and enjoyed the colorful graphics. Had a bit of challenge remembering the names (not good memorizing stuff) of all assets but enjoyed it, nonetheless. Found the map very useful. Loved that there were many options for strength, and I chose Easy, which made it fun for me to play. I recommend this game for any ages.

I’ve completed the first world so far at intermediate level and it’s been a great experience. It’s puzzling at start but once I got a basic hang of the mechanics I was hooked at assembling more things and discovering more land. I found the journal very handy since I don't always listen or read everything as they are happening :D Enemies can be at times challenging but thankfully you can save anytime and anywhere and retry with different tactics so it doesn’t feel punishing. The atmosphere is great and the uncluttered art style is relaxing visually. I wasn’t expecting this level of completeness at this stage of development and am simply amazed. I’m glad to be taking part in the early access an eager to see how this game will evolve.

I'm new to Steam, and Spheriums is the first game I've tried. I chose the easy level, and I have to say that I'm excited about this first experience. The original background story is challenging. The journal and map are very convenient. With its rich colors and relaxing background music, the first world gives us all the concentration we need to fight the various monsters - numerous and recalcitrant - that stand in the way of our quest. A quest that requires attention and reflection, because the developers don't give us everything on a silver platter - that's what I like most about this game. I can't wait to discover more!

Good game with a lot of potential. I love the adventure and the fact that you never know what the end goal is making the adventure pretty mysterious and exciting. Can't wait to see what the game brings up next.

Played for about an hour after I saw it was on sale. Fun shooting at the weird enemies, and a pretty first level. Can see it's still a work in progress, but there's a lot of charm and seems like the crafting and upgrades can get deeper. I can see myself enjoying playing through this over a weekend when it's fully launched, and all the levels are released. Overall 8/10 would recommend

Spherium is an original game quite unlike anything i have played before. Part shooter, part puzzle and exploration. The game has you wander through alien worlds where you gather ressources and upgrades to help you fight through the map and unlock new zones. Currently halfway through the second world i ve been amazed by the diversity of the progressively challenging ennemies (always something new around the corner) and have had a great time finding my way through the enchanting landscapes. For a game in early access its already in a great state and i cant wait to see the full game.

Spheriums is a fps exploration game centered around the mystery of how the alien civilization you are playing as has gone extinct. You explore different beautiful alien worlds to uncover what happened to your civilization while encountering different relics they build and the local wildlife which is different for each planet. From playing the game this is definitely the direction I think it’s headed, but the game is currently in early stages of early access and has a good bit to go. So as of this review I would only recommend you get involved with the game if you are interested in seeing the direction the game is going and how it’s going to evolve along the way.

Fun little game for the most part, i hope to see the rest of the levels added soon. Things to comment on: -Not killing an enemy, but only stunning it, isn't nearly as fun as killing it dead. -Lack of indication of low shields, i often die because i'm not looking at the top-left of my screen, but at my enemies -Energy regeneration being slowed down when moving, and having to move in order to dodge enemies when they're attacking often means that the best strategy is to run away and wait for your energy to recharge, which isn't too fun. -Nice visual design, but could do with a bit more fidelity/polish, if all the things in the game had the level of quality like the active emitters that'd be amazing! -I wish i could zoom in on the map, it's a big world and only gaining an overview when trying to remember multiple locations with resources can be a bit hard for my brain -Audio sliders not functioning at all. -Gaining levels feels too slow -Inventory system is annoying whenever i have to use the slots on stuff that ISN'T resources, like the runes or objective items. Why aren't runes just a permanent upgrade? They seem to have such little incrementing effect anyway. -Music is good <3 -Being a floating sphere is sometimes very relatable, which i do appreciate.

This is a fun little FPS with heavy emphasis on world exploration and resource management trying to find out what happened to your race that seems to have been wiped out by a seeming unknown enemy. As you explore and learn more about the different planets and your enemies you learn the story of just what happened to your comrades and what they were able to learn about this these foes and what you can do to defeat them growing stronger and upping your survivability with each upgrade. The combat is very simplistic in the start but quickly turns into a more complex one as more and more enemies are introduced all with unique attacks and effects on the player character. Using the variety of different weapons you gather threw your journey you must manage what weapons to use on what enemies. The music is what is going the best for the game right now in alpha, the calming traveling music as you explore this unknown planet learning more made it easier to keep playing. Then the sudden shift from calm to a more intense tempo and beat as a new combat situation arises out of seemingly nowhere kept you engaged for the parts that were more combat heavy. What I also enjoyed was how those areas would then have calming music in them after you clear that area, giving the feeling that you're properly making the the planet safer as you play further and further. This game is still however in alpha and has a long way to go before its done, with the upgrade systems and other in game mechanics needing some work as well as fleshing out the story. But the game shows promise and if you'd like to watch the path the game takes from alpha to finished product I would recommend picking up this game.
