The Blind Of The New World is deep and thought provoking visual novel. The way it shows the world where people can't distinguish holograms form the physical world is unique. How those who can't see holograms can't fit in the society has a lot of parallels with our own world. The main characters are likable and design in refreshing, it reminded both Narcissu and Steins;Gate. The way the world is explained is on bar with those novels and that's saying something. It's refreshing sci-fi story with multiple routes, likable characters, it skips the annoying anime tropes and has good music. I recommend it.

A very beautiful short Visual Novel about disability. Of course, there is more to it but trust me, you won't be wasting your time.

The Blind of the New World is a Korean VN touching on a number of things, disability being a prominent one.
With the story set in a future where augmented reality and holograms are the norm, and people are born with an artificial cornea in order to live in this new world, the meaning of the word “blind” no longer refers to those without sight. Rather, those who still live in the world behind the illusion, unable to see what every other person around them sees and have the same experience. I found it to be an interesting way to make the reader think on how our world feels from the perspective of someone with a disability.
There’s also a romance featured prominently. Our main character Seejay, lifelessly moving through existence as one of the blind encounters Chohyun- unlike the other people he sees dressed identically in hologram suits, she appears as a beautiful sight completely out of place, visually striking in a way nothing else in his world is. She, meanwhile, is fascinated by a painting she encountered one day depicting the world of the blind. How will their relationship grow and what effects will they have on each other? Why do they have a sense of déjà vu when they spend time together?
There are a number of interesting revelations, and the story branches into multiple endings, which each have their own epilogues.
Late in the story, it does feel like the story starts to retread some of the same ground when it needs to be wrapping things up, but for the most part, it’s a very compelling story.
The voice work is limited to a couple of characters but matches the respective characters personalities perfectly. It's also a treat to hear the Korean voice work, since most of my experience in the genre is in Japanese or western titles. There aren’t an extensive number of backgrounds and CG’s because it's a lower budget release, but what we do get is absolutely lovely.
I’d rate this a really solid visual novel, not genre defining but a great choice for someone looking for a story that doesn’t follow most of the usual tropes.

Way too long for how boring it is.
The game says the same thing about a thousand times before it moves on to the next segment. You have to repeat VERY long sections to get all the endings. And each ending just keeps going and going and going way past where it should end.

A poignant story of two people coming to understand the perspective of each other. Nice take on Augmented Reality and how it might affect the world too.

This story starts off well, but progressively just begins to get unbearable to read. I should have listened to the few comments I read, I figured this story would fit into some niche interest of mine, and while it does have a slightly nice setting, that's all it has to offer. I don't need or want to force myself to read something just in hopes of it maybe slightly getting better, so I will not be continuing to do so.

The Blind Of The New World is a short but well written novel centered around an idea that being blind does not only mean being unable to see, but being unable to see the same things everyone else does. Through this main concept you get to read how the characters get to know each other and gradually grow as people. I really enjoyed how this novel's story played out, and its concept was a really fun one. I totally recommend buying and reading this Taleshop novel just like the rest of their works.

A beautifully crafted love letter to the arts. In a world where anything and everything to do with art can be replicated by AI, not everyone understands why artists continue to create. However, this visual novel explained the answer to that question better than I, or most other people ever could.
It does a deep dive not only into why people stumble across creative inspiration, but also how no matter how advanced our society becomes, humanity will always feel an innate impulse to create; to share their emotions and desires with those around us. It also explores things like depression and how they can effect the day to day life of someone effected with it (Its just a theory on my part but I believe that the "blindness" as seen in game is a metaphor for real-world struggles with mental illness.)
As you play though this game and experience the deeply felt, and beautifully humane dialogue, I hope you'll keep these two quotes in mind. "The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance." (-Aristotle) and, “All art should inspire and evoke emotion. Art should be something you can actually feel.” (- Chris DeRubeis). I feel these two sayings accurately portray the game's overall message, and keeping them in the back of your mind as you explore Seejay's seemingly bleak world may help you come to your own conclusions of what this game, and by extension art itself, mean to you.
If you're on the fence about dropping $10 on this game, I hope this review will be the one to push you to make the purchase. I am irrevocably touched by this game, and as an artist myself, I want as many people as possible to have the opportunity to experience the things I did while playing.

I really like this VN for the most part, I think it has amazing world-building (I'm obsessed with the futuristic/cyber aesthetic lol) and a well-written and emotional story! The game does a great job at creating a fitting atmosphere, especially when showing contrast of how the protagonist sees the world compared to everyone else. I also liked the different endings and the characters (though I wish that there were more plot-relevant characters besides the main three, since it would be interesting to see more interactions with people who don't know about protagonist's condition). The art, music and UI are all amazing too!

I highly recommend this.
It is one of those rare works that can really make you think. In fact for some it might be as significant as to change their outlook on life. It is a learning experience in a way. Try to place yourself in the main characters shoes from time to time and think about what choice you would have made and why? Think about the motivations that the main character might have had? (Sorry for the school teacher like questions. I just think they are fun to keep in mind).
when playing the game I recommend going through the first time to get whatever ending suits you best. I would then recommend collecting endings 1 and 2 (watching the epilogues after each of them), and possibly 3 before doing the true ending. If you think the about 7 hours to do this is to long then possibly just go right for the true ending. I think its worth it to do it this way as you can reflect on how things might have turned out differently.
All around a great visual novel that tells a beautiful story. 100% something I am going to need to take some time to think about and mentally digest. It might even change your world, if you let it.
