Great for practicing English and learning new words. It's a lot of fun and worth the price!

Another good word game, this time harder, very good!
Once again, goodbye crossword on paper.

Exactly what it says it is, a nice series of word puzzles. Relaxing series of puzzles to smack your brain around with. Cheap, fun, enjoyable.

The game is a test of vocabulary and I am a fan of word games.
It sometimes offers clever clues that are tangentially related to the word(s) which good crossword puzzles do.
However this is not really a crossword puzzle game.

The music is soothing until you have trouble solving the puzzle, and then it becomes a sad background that accompanies your frustrations.
Overall, the difficulty is reasonable, and you can solve the puzzles using a crossword solver on the Internet. The only challenging part is playing this game on a handheld device. It's difficult to rotate the block pieces and fit into the tiles.

I liked the first game "WORDLAND", it has a very cool mechanic that mixes puzzles with crossword puzzles. And now I am loving the continuation with other words and landscapes. I recommend it!

Wow, I thought this game amazing. I loved the idea of combining the crosswords with this kind of puzzles. You don't just need to find/know the right answer, but realign the pieces. It's also a good challenge, I thought it was easy but I was wrong hahaha

For any fellow word nerds who dig crosswords, this is a great snack with which to wake up in the morning or post-nap. Not all of the clues make perfect sense; I in fact suspect English is not the native language of the developer, though I'm too lazy to verify/deny this claim. Still, before I binge myself into an immersive RPG, this game makes for an excellent appetizer. Breeze through levels as you're able, and when you catch a snag, quit, play the main fare of the day, and never really lose any progress. This game is the (un)free bowl of tortilla chips to whet your mind before diving into whatever your main course may be, and it is delightful.

It's a lot of fun. The video makes it look like it might be too easy, but in harder modes (available from the start) extra letters are added which make the word not quite so obvious. I'd recommend it if you think you'd like a harder and more interesting spin on a word jumble.

wordland 2 is exactly the same as the first game, essentially a level pack, so I posted pretty much the same review for it.
it's still a great word game/crossword/tetris hybrid. there are various shapes with letters on a grid and they have to be arranged to form all the words described on the bottom. no diagonals, only left to right or downward, but they don't all have to be connected to each other. in fact, the game accepts layouts that wouldn't fly in a real crossword (e.g. 'sir' horizontally, 'pure' above it vertically, so it's technically 'purei' but it's fine here).
100 levels unlocked one by one, the 3 difficulty levels control the amount of revealed letters (more on easy, only the first letter on normal, none on hard). there's no indication of any of this in the game, and what will drive achievement people up the wall is playing on hard doesn't unlock easy and normal achievements, so 3 full playthroughs for them, while the rest of us can enjoy playing however we please.
controls are very convenient, left click to pick a piece up, mouse wheel to rotate in either direction, another left click to place. my biggest gripe with the game was the size of the board, lots of tedium when the word was one letter too long and the entire thing had to be moved a tile to the left piece by piece. plenty of space on the screen, not sure why only a small area was used if it's not a lazy mobile port, but the current size is mostly good enough.
the same excellent music and background images with only a few new pictures compared to the first game. some of them are animated, but a surprising amount is too dark and might interfere with the grid and pieces. they change after every restart or new level, and can be changed manually, and also locked so they stay the same all the way. a gallery of them could be a great reward for completing the game.
settings-wise all the neccessities are present, separate volume settings, windowed mode with a couple resolution options (there could be a few more), and level selection is also a thing. these are all accessible from the main menu and while playing.
I think a bit more could've been done with the game, more elegant solutions and whatnot, plus difficulty is all over the place, though it obviously also depends on your vocabulary. still, it's really pleasant overall, and the price to become a citizen of wordland again is reasonable. can't say I approve of releasing not one but two identical sequels within a short time though.
