The setting is immersive and captivating with attention to detail in the clothing, architecture, and technology of late 19th century. I also loved the setting and descriptions of the French countryside. The protagonist, Marcel, is a relatable and lovable character, his journey and personality are very engaging. Overall, I recommend Embraced by Autumn, it offers a heart-warming and enjoyable experience.

The first part of the game gave me heartburn from being in an uncomfortably similar position as Marcel, and the rest of the game gave me extremely sudden body dysmorphia.
