Overall Hyperglide is a simple laid back experience with interesting visuals. I see a lot of potential for this game though. A mode where you compete against others to be the last one flying would be interesting or possibly even a tag game mode of some sort would be fun.

og: This game is fun! Great game to zone out and play.
update: og review didn't do justice. Impressive graphics, unique terrains whenever you want, great gliding physics, and soothing sounds make this game really satisfying and fun to play. My go-to game when I'm in a group call talking to my friends. Must buy at 3 dollars, excited to see where this game goes in the future.

I have over 40 hours in the beta for this game and can say wholeheartedly this is the best chill game in my library. It delivers a zen experience unlike any other. For those into the more competitive side, the controls are crisp and there are multiple leaderboard categories to compete in. I would compare it most to a roguelite where on each flight you explore the proceduraly generated level more and plan out your strategies for a big-scoring run. While I've had some fun competing on the leaderboards, I think the best way to experience this game is to simply boot into a new level, and just explore while the calming soundtrack plays. I always come back to this game when I'm stressed and it's a really serene experience if you choose to play it casually.

3 Crashes to desktop in less than 10 minutes. From what I can glean from the limited amount of runs I've gotten is that this is a poorly polished Superflight clone. I haven't found any aspect of this that is as good as Superflight either. Clutter in sound design (seagulls really?), can't continue a run by flying through the bottom, the world looks boring, totally breaks the flow that I can't instantly start a new run after I die. I don't see an early access tag, so I'm not assuming there's more to come with this. Avoid this, just get Superflight. It's a real bummer too. I loved superflight and was hoping someone was going to add to it, maybe make something more of the formula.

Super relaxing game (somehow it reminded me to Alto's Advneture) with potential to grow on features:
- VR Support
- Different Planets (with different athmosphere density, gravity and corresponding horizon/rock formation etc.
- Eternity option (no ground)
- Multiplayer (two player that could try to chase or shoot each other)
- Upgrade your rider based on coins/points earned
Looking forward to where the devs will bring this piece of artfull software.

Cool sound, nice graphics, amusing game. Maybe it's just me, but I am struggling with the steering. Especially at start, it's difficult to stabilize - dumb Superman going up and down, up and down ... Looking forward to seeing where the game is going. Thanks for your efforts!

Very similar to a game I've always enjoyed called Superflight. Super chill, super re-playable; I always want to play another round and chase the top spot on the leaderboard.

While I respect that the developer is trying to make an updated and more adaptable version of the classic wingsuit genre, the result is unfortunately a miss.\
The flight isn't as fun to control as StratO, and I can't do a barrel roll.
The map generation process is rather slow for how disappointingly roomy and uncluttered the generated maps feel -- a stark contrast to the likes of Superflight, whose blocky map generation left exciting nooks and crannies everywhere and could serve up map after map almost instantly.
The leaderboard system is adequate, but it is unclear how the scores are comparable when the maps are different -- a lucky map with a good line could yield a higher stunt and combo almost without user input. It seems to me that the leaderboard would be better served on a seed-by-seed basis.
The visuals are entertaining, and there are a few map features that really do add some fun: flocks of birds, waterfalls, hidden gems and relics -- all of these make the maps seem more explorable. But the colors and shapes of each map feel very homogeneous, leading to the infinitely many possibilities all feeling somewhat stale.
I will concede that the developer has been actively updating the game, which is more than can be said for many of the other games in this genre -- and if the game improves, I'll update this review to reflect it. For now, though, I sadly can't recommend Hyperglide.

Hyperglide is an incredibly beautiful game in which amazing scenery is the backdrop for a seemingly endless collection of maps. (And a developer who responds with unquestionable respect and uncommon promptness.)
Players can go "hell bent for leather", or almost just float so slowly as to nearly fall out of the sky, with several leaderboards. If I had to choose the single game of my 2,000+ Steam game library that combines beauty, fun and zen-like calmness, I'm pretty sure it would be Hyperglide.
There are still some things that can be added or changed for "perfection", but for the time being Hyperglide is pretty hard to beat exactly as it is. (And the price is almost a gift in itself, even without a discount!)
Thank you for this gem (and for reading my review.). During a painfully stress-filled week, Hyperglide has genuinely been my salvation, and I am just so grateful. Personally, it feels to me like more than "just a game".

Just get Superflight instead, this game does everything worse.
