The game is fun and I really love it I just wish there was more to do after a while it kind of gets stale. unless you're trying to 100% the game there isn't a whole lot to do but just try your best with different items and builds. (there was talk of an update for this game and a possible multiplayer but I haven't heard any news from that yet). the game is fun and I come back to it once in awhile but there's nothing enticing me to stay for more then an hour I just hope there's more in the future but with all that said I still love this game and I think it's worth the play

Its good and the premise is fun, but it could be better: the run variation just isn't there for me.

This game is so much FUN!!! I love how every run feels different and how many different variations you can have of your dome, and the art style is literally so gorgeous I can't get enough of it! 100000/10

Such an amazing tower defense and mining game. Easy enough to sort of mindlessly play but enough challenge to keep you engaged.

''Multiplayer co-op is just around the corner!! -2023'' they said at the discord server It's been 2 years, still the same thing. Love the game, but if you are not planning to add something just don't lie about it. I made 2 of my friends buy the game just because of the ''around the corner'' and still being bullied ever since. Gameplay 8/10 News 0/10 It is not worth the bullying

Gamepad on Mac is not working properly. The layout is messed up. Tried to fix it on my own without success.

I'd rather watch paint dry. This game is the slowest waste of time experience of my life. I've not felt this with other rouge-lite style games, but it feels like its so slow to just boost the play time hours. The mining you have to do over and over, while being so ridiculously slow at the start and super slow to increase the speed of, is incredibly un-fun. Add in the rng of location of resources and the amount, welcome to slow keeper.

I can definitely recommend Dome Keeper as a compelling tower defense/resource gathering type game with some roguelite elements. It is compelling, addictive, thoughtful, power-fantasy fulfilling among other great qualities. I wasn't sure how long this game would remain this fun, but it has lasted long enough to reach a level where I'm quite satisfied with what I've gotten in return for my investment. I want to keep playing and unlock all of the special assignments and then work my way into beating everything at a harder level. It's really fun and the loop is seemingly dynamic enough to keep me going. Though, i do wonder if the mining aspect will remain as compelling as it is right now. I bet if I try the other miner things will become fresh again with it's unique mechanics and etc. So far I haven't thought to myself once, hmmm this game would be so good if... except maybe to say that a little more randomness might make the game feel a bit more fresh and unpredictable. That said, I'm not sure how that could be implemented well. Anyway, sweet game! Definitely a buy from me!

I am a dwarf and i'm digging a hole, diggy diggy hole! Yeah, I enjoy the gameplay loop of digging, finding, upgrade, kill. THEN you can download a GIF of your run and watch where you went.

A fun micro progression mining game mixed with tower defense*. Starting a run always feels like a drag, the base speed, mining speed, and progression is almost annoying, but afterwards, the game takes off and is a lot of fun. Not the most appealing to re-open because you think of those first 5-10 minutes of a run. Still a fun game for the money spent and a unique experience.
