I don't get some of the reviews. This is a great game from a little 2 person company, made with a lot of compassion.
It is not abandoned.
And if you are here for some nice time in the cockpit, flying around, enjoying the visuals and the scenery, you will have a great time.

I wish I could recommend it. I thought I found a hidden gem like Dredge. Instead it's just meh. It's pretty fun for the first 10 hours but then it gets bogged down by it's many, many issues.

Good idea, bad mechanics (flying between islands is incredibly boring and there's just nothing there) and some poor execution (e.g. salvage mini game default controller settings; some missions aren't well explained). Missing some mechanics that would make it a lot better, like being able to see where ingredients are once you've found them.

Not a bad game but I think it could have been better. The AI voice overs are a little distracting and noticeable, I think it would have been better if it did not have voice over at all, just text.
It is still a enjoyable game for me, but I would have liked more if the aviation aspect had received more attention instead of brewery.

Want to like this but the bugs are actually game breaking. Past the return mark at this point, 8.6 hours at time of review. Otherwise I would def refund.
Its not that its a bad game. Has its issues sure but its fun and has a lot of charm. The problem is, twice now, I have lost control of the plane. First time: near complete lost of input. Had to reboot game to fix. Second time: the reduce throttle button started pausing the game for some reason. These cause the plane crash, which cause loss of money supplies or even mission failure. As the only time the game saves is when you dock, rebooting the game to fix this loses progress. The better your plane becomes, the longer you'll be out before you need to dock, the more time you'll lose.
I've noticed these events seem to happen just after a scripted event occurs. This is the type of bug that simply cant be ignored to give a positive review. Tragically many posts seem to say the devs are MIA. So, I doubt it'll get any fix but its mine forever now... guess Ill keep trying to finish it.
To be clear, there are many other gripes I have with this game. Yet, there is a lot of good to combat them. I will not be going over any as there is no real point. In other words, its not the only issues but taking the good vs the bad, it WOULD be a positive review if the above issues were fixed.

I picked up this game because of its strong resemblance to the Studio Ghibli film Porco Rosso. The developers did an amazing job with the visuals and design, and to my surprise, it’s also a very entertaining game.
I’d love to see more games inspired by the works of Studio Ghibli!

It's a great chilling game, great vibes and amazing atmosphere. I would never get tired of landing my hydroplane in such fantastic places.
But it's more for players like me, who like games like truck/farm simulator, roadcraft or snowrunner. You set up your own aircraft with plenty of parts, manage your fuel and stamina, fly arround collecting resources/valuables while finding the best recipes for your brews and managing your pub. Occasionally you get attacked by pirates or you must fight their blockade, which it's by far the most annoying part.
If you expect an arcade action flight game turn away, it's not for you.
