Is this a sportscar, supercar or even a hypercar?! Don't care as long it is delivered with a rudder instead of a steering wheel: No controller support = strategic suicide. I mean seriously...no controller support for a metroidvania?! Kinda hard to grasp... Open to revise though...in case of controller support.

Clunky controls. Jumping feels too heavy. Attack is unsatisfying. Skills for each class are unremarkable. For some reason it seems to almost support a controller, but not all of key functions are mapped onto the controller even though there are plenty of spare buttons. Weird. Feels like an early release demo. I am glad I bought it on sale. If you are a joystick player, definitely do not buy this game. Concept is decent, art style is nice. But controls are very lacking. I would only recommend it because it is so cheap and its flaws are big and bad but few and maybe it is still in development (I hope). Just too bad for me the controller issue is a fatal flaw. So for now, its not a recommend. I will keep it in my library and check in with updates. Please add proper controller support. I get so tired of having to set up my JoyToKey app. I got enough other games that don't need it. Like Doomsday Hunters.

This has to be one of my favorite games ever, and after 10+ hours (6 of which were spent trying to map the controls, because you’ll find me in my cold, cold grave before I ever cave in to using mouse/keys) I still don’t know what the hell I’m doing! It’s hard to put into words what’s so special about it, so I’ll just list off the things it has going for it… -beautiful pixel graphics -fantastic soundtrack (extremely sad sounding) Actually, it’s like a far more beautiful “Risk of Rain”that let’s you take time to explore the world, and find lot’s of loot. If more games like this start coming out regularly, they’ll have to start a new sub genre “RiskofVania” or whatever… just buy it!

I am enjoying this game so far. It is a little rough around the edges, so I am guessing it is still in development. I don't know Chinese, so I have no idea what is going on. I think it's a gem, anyway. A watchful elder summons and sends your spirit to a place with 4 statues where you pick your class. You can quickly select your class, or test it out first, which is nice. There is a barbarian, mage, a third one that I haven't tried yet, and an archer. There is a good mix of exploration, combat, puzzles, and bosses. Once you get to the town/hub it seems like you are at a dead end, as the guard keeps you from leaving through the front gate. I don't understand what he is asking for. However, you can glitch through a wall to progress through the sewers of the town. I'm not sure if this is the intended way to progress. Nowhere else in the game have I done something similar, so I think it's a bug. As you defeat each boss, you usually unlock a new NPC for the town/hub. Most NPCs seem to be some kind of shop. The controller works, but the controls for it are a bit clunky, so I use keyboard and mouse. As google translate told me about the other reviews, others agree that the audio and visual cues for combat need improvement. It's hard to tell when you get hit, for example. I was looking for a game like Hollow Knight, Momodora: RUtM, or Minoria, and this is like those games. It has great environment, and the music suits it. The developer seems to be active. They answered a discussion post saying that the game would be translated in English in the future. The game was less than $3, so I decided not to wait. Worth picking up.
