Game's short, not the most well crafted or polished, but it's interesting for what it is; a tactical TPS based on touhou, and the characters (except maybe the green haired fairy) are all pretty interesting in their own rights, don't expect crazy undertale level lore though of course. If only the english could be better though...

Pleasantly surprised by E.E.R.I.E, sure the movement is a little stiff and the A.I is completely unbalanced but the Gunplay is really well done. ADS can be a little floaty when moving your mouse at faster speeds though. The game looks great too, I was playing on medium settings and everything looked smooth and clean. There are so many customisable options for your guns too. Definitely worth trying out. For my First Impressions of 异变战区 E.E.R.I.E check out my video here: https://youtu.be/Q04qyoRERZU

Rough around the edges, and a little bit short; but it stands to be a pretty decent Ghost Recon style game based on Touhou. Sounds strange but the reality of there being a Touhou indie game based on most popular games is just far too amusing to me. I hope this game picks up a bit more traction, would love to see more from this developer; and the upcoming work shown on their bilibili page looks quite promising. Overall; don't go in expecting too much right now, but the short time to be had is fairly interesting.

calling this game rough around the edges would be an immense understatement. if anything it doesn't feel entirely finished, and the garbage EN localization doesn't help but it's a lot of fun to play around with, so at the end of the day I can't not recommend it :p

Not as hard to figure out what ammo your gun uses as some of the other reviews say as the weapon will tell you pretty quickly and the ammo cans only drop whatever is currently in your active slots. Touhou shooter game is fun, but yeah its short. Could be really cool if it gets fully fleshed out but for now its not really worth the 15$ price tag. Messing with the guns and the customization system is the most fun you will get outside of the story bits so once you have completed the 3 missions the fun dies pretty quick. For the Dev, it needs a better way of figuring out who is an enemy and who is an ally and something other than Dai's ability to mark things with. Weapons need a full stat block including damage, deviation, zoom level and all the other stats that each weapon has so I can see what my customisations are changing in real time. Im genuinely curious what you are going to do with the story since the concept is ridiculous but you seem to be playing it straight so please find an actual translator. Other than that, It just needs more content.

pretty good game, really well thought as there's no other fangames in this style, also dem gucci gears anyway, some parts are kinda unpolished, missions are kinda too short, enemies drop too few loot, i hope more contents and fixes are added in future updates

This game seems to be in a early access state although for some reason the steam page does not shower any (taking as example how simple the game is) So I will write this review assuming this is a little project from a team who has passion on it but this is like one of the first versions of the project, I REPEAT, THIS GAME IS NOT COMPLETE YET, IT IS AS OF NOW A CONCEPT OF A POSSIBLE FULL AND WELL DEVELOP GAME The game looks nice and simple, perfect to run in almost any laptop or computer you may have in these times, the ambience is neat and well placed, the buildings and interiors are ok, the map is ok too but as of now it doesn't have too much happening on it, this is to the stage of development the game is on. Story wise there is some sort of story going on, characters who will communicate with you will say a thing or two about the situation and what is going on (I have yet to finish the Seija path tho, so maybe on that one explains a little bit more) the story is kinda there, but is not complete, I feel this is more like a concept of a whole story rather than a complete piece of it. Gameplay is ok, the AI needs to be improve a lot, since the enemies tend to have a time window that is not affect by distance, so here is an example, if you are at 50 meters from an enemy in their line of sight, they will take some seconds to detect your presence, kinda believable since it will take you time to notice someone from the distance and call it hostile, but the same time window is applied when you are just than less than 5 meters from them without obstacle or hiding on a shadow, this makes some weird moments when one enemy going through a gate didn't see your face when you are right next to them and they pass along, the AI throw granades and seems to investigate places where action or gunshots has been fired sometimes, but it needs much more work to make them functional and logical. The bosses are not great being completely honest, they have the same clunky AI and they are complete bullet sponges, it will be fine if they have different tactics and tricks on their sleeves, but they behave exactly as the normal enemies, and one huge flaw from the AI that the bosses have too, is that you only need to hide behind a wall to set that time window of unawareness again and abuse it to get easy shots, the bosses have the damage really cranked up so if an enemy could take you down by firing 5 shots and hitting 3 and missing the other 2, the bosses have laser aim sometimes and they take you down so easily once they open fire on you and you are not behind any cover. The animations are kinda janky and jitter from time to time (especially the FPS mode, is really great in my opinion but it needs work to improve upon). The gunplay needs more of a immersive feeling and the animations are fundamentals on it, the reload animation seems to just be a concept as well as the feeling of the gunplay in general they are on the RIGHT path in my opinion, but again, work needs to be done and the potential is there The inventory and UI is fine, could be improve on especially with some sort of low health indicator (this could be added not like a UI part but maybe a light red screen or sounds signaling that the character is on low health) The models are good, although in FPS mode the guns need a little bit more polishing to be more comfortable to use. All of the game is fine, it is just a little concept of what can be a much greater game once develop and update the parts that needs work and add more good stuff onto the mix, the potential on this is HUGE and I mean HUGE, this is the type of games I really like, and this concept seems so lovely to me I could put hundreds of hours on it, this project has potential, maybe that's the reason they're setting up a workshop for the game since for this kind of projects, a good and living modding helps the game stay alive in the meantime while the devs works on updates and more content (look at Revienfield for example, at the beginning a simple game but thanks to it's modding community, is pretty much alive and well with the dev working on updates and everything!) If you like this kind of games, sort of like tactical shooters and touhou, and you want this game to reach it's great potential, I do recommend it to buy it!! However, if you are not a fan of touhou but a fan of shooters (it can be the other way too) and you are not yet decided to buy or not, I suggest to think about it if you wanna support to grow the game on it's development by buying it, or wait for a while and check it from time to time to look for updates. And for the devs, you have great potential with this one, if you create a community around it (and a hub like a discord server) I know your game can go far!!. I honestly want to mod the game even tho I have 0 to none experience of modding lmao

This game is something else man. Touhou meets The Division meets Tarkov in a Gensokyo that looks like the USSR. There really is nothing else like it. English Translation is serviceable, don't expect it to anything close to good but you can still comprehend it if you NEED a reason to go and shoot tengus and talk to Koishi Fumos. The gameplay is pretty aight, you walk around an eastern bloc city, gunning down other girls with guns and are awarded money for each one. Enemies also drop either food items to heal yourself or more ammo. Once you got enough cash you can head to a shop "zone" and buy yourself a random item from one of several chest. The gameplay loop is there but the items you get from the boxes is completely randomized and it may severely hurt you depending on the rng. I wish it had an actual shop interface so you can buy what you want but oh well. There's lots of guns you can buy along with plenty of attachments, healing items, grenade types, and special ammo types. There's also 3 characters. Ringo: The Lunar Rabbit (wish you could play as Reisen instead) Kijin Seija: The Amanojaku, and Daiyousei: The Greater Fairy. Each has their own loadout and special skill along with their own story to boot. Again with the English translation in its current state, you prolly aren't gonna get an insane edge-of-your-seat story with gripping characters and high stakes, but the variety in tasks and characters is nice and well appreciated. Whats bad about this? It's real janky. Bullets miss even if you are aiming point blank, your ironsight aiming mode flails all over the place, you'll die from grenades over and over cause you can't see a small black square sailing through a predominantly brown screen. Again the randomness of the loot can severely hurt you if you aren't lucky and you'll often find yourself with a surpless of ammo for every gun but the one you are using. Despite all this, I still do recommend this. To Touhou fans at least. This is just a really odd experience that I don't regret playing and it truly is a one of a kinda game.

The game is super short for $15. There's only about 3 different stories that can be completed in like 40 minutes each. This is a sort of open world touhou third person shooter game with vehicles that drive like you're playing GTA 4. You can't really tell which NPCS are friendly until you get close enough to them. This is very confusing, since all three start in the same location, but all the npcs react differently based on your character choice. The gunplay is pretty janky. From certain angles the bullets don't seem to go towards the crosshair. Walls will block your shot if the line of sight isn't clear, which the game won't tell you. The character also glitched out for a couple seconds at times, with jumping seeming to fix it. There's an inventory system which seems to add so much unneeded complexity. You carry weapons, health, and ammo. There is no hotkey to use health, so you have to scour the inventory every time. It's very hard to tell which ammo each gun uses and the game does not tell you how much total ammo you have left in reserve for that gun. I beat the game with Ringo, and I barely even filled up my inventory. There are ammo boxes in the map, but it seems to be a gacha box that might give you the ammo you need... You'll have a full inventory but your gun will have like 2 magazines. There are different weapons but they all feel the same. There is no melee from what I found so not having ammo just makes you useless. There are a bunch of enemies littered around and it's kind of hard to tell where they are. Some areas have friendlies and enemies right next to each other, so you can get caught off guard pretty easily. It's hard to keep track how much health you have because there is no low health warning, so you possibly can just get melted by the AI if you're not constantly looking at your health. There's a couple of weapons, but a ton of different attachments. You can aim in first person with middle click which is kind of neat, but sometimes, it jitters so much it's pointless to do so. I don't think there's anything to do aside from the objectives on your screen so wandering and exploring around isn't very rewarding aside from killing random enemies to give you currency. Most of the "bosses" are just bullet sponges that will shred you if you don't abuse their AI and constantly hide from them. example:
Rumia is a bullet sponge that takes like 100 shots to kill, will only shoot you if you are directly in her line of sight, can shred your health in 4 hits and can wallbang you
There is mod support, but as of writing this, there doesn't seem to be any toolto upload/make mods. I really like the aesthetics and sounds of the game, but sadly, the AI and general gameplay feels very strange and clunky. There is a story but it's presented in text very poorly and easy to miss since it goes by fast and happens during combat. The story is very short and the missions aren't very interesting. The english translation isn't very good, so it's kind of hard to tell what they're saying. At this price, I don't recommend it. There isn't much stuff to do and the content that it has is very short and isn't designed very well.
