There's a lot of QOL that feels like it should be there. It's buggy or just clunky in many ways. For example, cooking is really awkward, there's no sort on inventory, and apparently you can only have two storage chests. I just don't understand how these games are made without simple inventory management features. I might check back in on this one but I'm concerned with the reports from reviewers who have more time in the game that it gets boring and is just a bunch of fetch quests.

Deeply annoying underwater gameplay. Everything on timers or counters (air timer, item use counters), No cheat codes to lessen tedious things like underwater gameplay. its a 'cozy' game and SOLO, but Devs and discord prople act like cheat codes are a crime. Enjoyed the demo, mostly land based, hate what it has turned into with each patch being more and more timer/counter based. Will not recommend to others.

*staggering out of 12-hour single-day binge play session, unshaven, unwashed, still in pajamas, having eaten only items that were microwaveable or ready to eat, mere minutes away from returning to bed*
Yeah, it's a pretty good town builder, exploration-focused crafter, and social sim even in Early Access. Note that the demo carries your saves over to the main game when you buy it and is built on a slightly earlier version of the game, so a couple of minor bugs will disappear when you switch over. And yes, I said, and meant, when. If you have any affection at all for Critter Cove's influences, you will end up loving and buying this game after trying the demo.

Love it! It's exactly what I've been looking for in an Animal Crossing like game. As much as I love AC, i hated that it was tied to real time. This game? Nope, play as much as you want and progress as much as you want in the day. It's so cute and charming. Absolutely recommend and I'm looking forward to playing more of it.

This game is AWESOME! It reminds me of every cozy/farming/adventure game I love combined into its unique gameplay! At first I was not a fan of the salvaged trashy look, but with the new content they added you can make it look colorful! I love the endless customization for your character, the deep sea diving controls, whacky castaways, and crafting in this game! If you are on the fence about buying just do it! You know you will just spend that money on coffee or pizza anyway! ;) Spend it on something that will give you hours of endless play rather than a quick trip to the toilet! :P

I try to stay away from EA games because so many of them are simply a wreck. This one is not; definitely a rare gem in the EA stage. It's very well put together (no crashes, very few glitches) and even at this stage, it's very enjoyable. It has a Dinkum vibe, but the graphics and art style are different and really well done. Game play is fun and the world--both islands and underwater--to explore is already a huge piece of the game .
Town progression is a little slow, but that actually works well for the game and maybe that's even by design. It gives you time to really build up and decorate your town as you slowly grow it. As far as any glitches, they're minor graphical, nothing major. Some minor clipping here and there and feet standing a bit below the actual ground plane in places.
Overall, though, definitely a winner in the genre. I'll be putting a lot of time into this one.

beautiful character creation and very nice setting! my nitpicks were all on the roadmap and the gameplay loop is a blend between casual and a bit insane in a good way . looking forward to its future!

Really Fun! The only thing id like is to be able to "upgrade" character, like when picking up items or salvaging have an upgrade that gives like 2x more, since it kinda gets tediius constantly scavaging the same islands for the same metarials, its rgeat at first but it can start to become an unfun grind

A very fun game with a surprisingly large amount of content. The character creator has a lot of options, and there is a wide selection of NPCs to invite to your community. I did have some buggy moments and there can be a bit of grind in gathering the items you need to craft materials for houses as you expand your town, but there are a few secrets to discover along the way which keeps exploration interesting.
