Wow was super pleased to see this game pop up on Steam. This is a throwback to my old Amiga days playing this and it's predecessor Shadowlands (Which is yet to appear here on Steam at time of writing). For the uninitiated or younger folk, the game play can be very unforgivable (think Darksouls unforgivable) and can become frustrating FAST. With no tutorial or other settings I recommend downloading a copy of the old manual.
It's important to note being a straight up dos box port this is not a recreation, but the game in all it's original format and glory. As I'm sure a remaster of this game would take it to a whole new level, the fact it's untouched hits the nostalgia feels hard.
10 out of 10 - look forward to getting frustrated with this game again some 27 years later.
