Adorable and absolutely heart-touching. Super atmospheric, lots of cute little details in the art, sound design, etc. And way more to do than I thought there'd be! I'm three hours in and I think a bit over halfway through

Koira – the Finnish word for dog – is a short and sweet walking and exploring sim with slight puzzle mechanics.
Together with your trusty, barking little companion you walk through forests and mountains to reach your ultimate goal: going home. Along the way you solve small puzzles to feed the little dog, help forest animals and avoid being captured by hunters etc.
All in all Koira is a relaxing, chilling game experience that focus more on the emotional narrative of said journey than any gameplay and lasts roughly 4h.

Koira is a simple but beautiful story-driven game that quickly reminds it's audience of Limbo and other game's from the flash era. It gives you everything you need - good music and a story of two inseparable friends with lots of dog petting possibilities, it's very cute.
The pros of this game are the most obvious ones: an interesting and emotional story with a cute companion and very nice visuals. Overall, throughout the game everything feels solid and well-made, however, if you're an experienced player who's searching for something challenging, then this isn't it (that's not a bad thing, just a preference!).
The only con I can think of would be the over-simplicity, which sometimes leaves you waiting for something more. But this is still not too strong of a negative, simply my own opinion.
If you're trying to find a relaxing but still compelling story with easy gameplay, Koira is made for you! Please give it a try. (also if you're Belgian, it might interest you since it was made by a Belgian studio!)

A couple of points of frustration in the stealth bits of the game, however overall a worthwhile experience. Art and music are lovely and unique.

Lovely, lovely animations and character design. Who is this for? People who can enjoy something part art part animated story book, who are open for a bittersweet emotional experience, who want to be reminded of what we lose when we grow up, who love puppies and who can appreciate the small details and care that went into this project.
