The game is truly immersive. It makes the most of the VR interactivity. The soundtrack, as well as the sound effects, make the experience incredible. I could play it for hours! Five stars without hesitation, I can only recommend it.

The game is a VR version of the classic asteroid shooter. It has been done quite well to take advantage of VR mechanisms. The 3D audio alerting you as asteroids approach is very nice, and so is the ability to freely turn and shoot in all directions. The gameplay loop of shooting asteroids never became tedious because all I had to do was change the difficulty to create a fun challenge.Plus, the impressive background art and sound design in each environment made replaying a level feel fun.

There is no other way to put this, Astroroxx is just the classic Asteroids arcade game from the ’70s in VR. It even has the wireframe Asteroids, but you are shooting laser fire at them and you have a small selection of different guns. If this game was free of just a quid or so I would have recommended it, but when it costs £9.99 you will have to do hours of score-chasing just to get anywhere near value for money here. There are far better VR versions of Asteroids out there like Cosmotic Blast that cost far less. Give all those a go before even thinking of trying this one.
