Great addition to the Eggcelerate series. I haven't been able to watch the development process as much for this instalment in the series, so the levels will be more of surprise and challenge to complete.
I've enjoyed the previous two incarnations and this adds something new with the bike, giving a different dynamic to work with through the ever challenging levels. The tracks are longer than the previous games, giving you more of a challenge.
It will frustrate and delight in equal measure. A game you can pick up for a quick blast or spend longer at trying to beat the times on the leaderboard.
Thumbs up from me.

Like the two previous games in the Eggcelerate series, this game looks cute and starts off easy, but it gets challenging quick. The quick restart after you've broken an egg makes you go "just one more try" ... for many more tries than just one more.
This game also brings some fresh improvements to the formula - driving a motorbike instead of a car may seem like a minor detail, but it feels completely different. It is somehow both easier and harder - you can balance the bike to keep the egg in the bowl during cornering, but also just as easily fling the egg out of the bowl and into a tree if you're not being careful. Many of the levels include secondary paths that you can explore to find collectables or just for the scenic routes.
And speaking of scenery this is positively the prettiest game in the series. The environments of the levels are nicely detailed, there's bridges, caves, wide and narrow roads, villages and forests and much more.
I've also tried the game on the Steam Deck, and other than a couple of slight fps drops from a few specific angles it performed well at 60 fps.
If you enjoy quirky and challenging racing games you will probably enjoy this game.

Tropics is the third game in the Eggcelerate series and, similar to ice in the North Pole, it adds a new dimension by going from cars to motorcycles. I must admit that I was a bit sceptical about this at first but I was proven wrong. Now you can lean the bike in the corners which gives you full control over the egg and allows you to drive much quicker when aiming for the leaderboards. It really feels like a high-speed racing game which makes it a blast to compete against the WR ghost. You'll hear yourself saying "one more try" while the hours fly by.
The music deserves its own section since it really captured the feeling of the tropics.
On the negative side, I'm struggling a bit with the hills. It's an amazing feeling when you manage to throw and catch the egg but it's also painful when you drive over a tiny hill that causes you to lose the egg after a near-perfect run. I wish there was a playground track that allowed you to practice all the hills and egg catching without having to go through a one-minute track. But maybe I'm just biased since I love to grind the short easy-to-learn 20-25 seconds tracks. Climbing on the leaderboards is an amazing feeling.
Overall a great game well worth the money.

Eggcelerate is one of those frustratingly fun games that will have you hooked trying to beat your high score. Similar to games like Flappy Bird, the gameplay is deceptively simple, yet incredibly challenging. The feeling of satisfaction you get from finally getting the egg to the finish line is unmatched. What's even better is that Eggcelerate runs flawlessly on the Steam Deck console. It's the perfect game for handheld gaming, since it has addictive gameplay yet you can pick it up or put it down in an instant. I highly recommend Eggcelerate to anyone looking for a fun and challenging game that's perfect for gaming on the go.

This game is a great experience from start to finish. Once you complete the game, the challenge of beating your time and becoming the KOM adds a great incentive to keep playing. Overall, I highly recommend it to any gamer looking for a fun, challenging racing game.

I had a BLAST playing this one, I played the previous ones and really liked those too, but the addition of the bike makes it a lot different and feels super nice to steer around with, you really get to utilize leaning into corners and stuff to try and keep your egg in the basket.
Can't wait to one day see some Multiplayer in it, but even without if you are just a little sweaty you can have a lot of hours of fun in this game, just beating the "Goal Score" - Not to even mention the leaderboards.. Yeah.. This game is super fun for what it is. I recommend it!

Eggcelerate! to the Tropics is a natural sequel to the existing Eggcelerate! franchise.
It builds on top of the known driving mechanics from the previous games and adds a unique twist.
In Eggcelerate! to the Tropics you are now required to deliver an egg to the finish line while driving a motorcycle. Steering will tilt the bike, allowing you to take sharp corners and counter the natural movement of the egg trying to fly out of the bowl.
The level design is well thought of, offering great visuals, environment variety and an ever-increasing difficulty as you complete each level. There are several branching paths that take you to collect secrets and/or to allow for an easier completion of that level.
The several paths per level might overwhelm a new player, as it's difficult to know at first it they will lead where you expect. My advice for these new players is to follow the main wider road on your first playthrough, as it is guaranteed to take you to the finish line. Feel free to explore each level once you get a little more comfortable on top of the bike!
By far, the biggest feature in this iteration is the new leaderboard system. It allows you to quickly know where you rank on a specific level and which times you have to beat to rank up. You can also choose to race against the next-best or top-1 ghost on each level, allowing to learn new racing lines and battle your way to the top!
There is currently a very healthy competition around getting the fastest times on each level. So if you like challenges, give it your best try and claim your bragging rights on our Discord!
Good luck. It won't be easy. But it will be very rewarding.

Eggcelerate! to the Tropics is a challenging and fun racing game. I enjoyed the challenge and smashed a ton of eggs! Once you learn a track and remember its challenges you can over come the goal times.
There are also 100 hidden gold turtles lurking in cool hidden spots for you to find.
The world is fun, colourful and there are some really awesome little villages and vistas to enjoy as you are whipping around the track and smashing eggs!

A surprisingly enjoyable and very goofy racing game, if the premise appeals to you I'd give it a go. It feels great to play and the dev times are a very solid challenge to go for! The other two games in the series are also good, but I had the most fun with Tropics.

Overall, this game is worth more than the listing price and is a steal on sale. If you like racing games with a high skill ceiling, you’ll enjoy this game.
Don't let the fun and colorful graphics fool you: this is an extremely hard and rewarding racing game.
The name of the game is to race your customizable motorbike through thirty tropical tracks while trying desperately to keep your egg tucked safely inside its basket.
Controlling the bike feels fantastic. With a bit of practice, you’ll get a good feel for how the bike and egg physics work. Slight input adjustments can make a big difference. I recommend using a controller.
The game also has a leaderboard and the ability to race against the ghosts of people faster than you. This really helps if you’re competitive and trying for a record time.
