Ostensibly, it is like Orcs Must Die. It is a tower defense game where you get to third person shoot at the baddies to stop them from killing your mcguffin energy crystals.
There are no sound effects, just music.
The waifu animations are sparse and the guns don't work. I know this is identified in the dev update but the core mechanic should work on launch day. I went in looking for a bad/funny game, and what I found was just bad.
