This is my first review, and honestly this game isnt bad at all. Its a survival game basically like rust, with the building, crafting, etc. It has a ton of potential in my opinion, and thats why im making this review. I would love to see this game get more popular over time. After some changes and updates, this game will be on a comparable level with rust, just needs to have a player base to support it. $20 is a decent amount to spend on a newer game, but everyone has to start from somewhere.
The game includes simple surviving mechanics as of right now, like hunger/thirst, along with your health bar of course. It also has a stamina meter for your sprinting. Not sure if these will be updated in the future to include more in depth system, like scum. You can mine stones and iron ore as of right now, I'm sure there may be more added later. Building and crafting uses the same concept as the rust mechanics, so wood is the cheapest/weakest while you can gradually upgrade as long as you have the materials. There's a lot of customization for it to be an early access game just released. The enemies so far are pretty scarce, but i haven't really gone that far to explore yet. I've ran into a handful of the basic zombies, and a crawler type one. Overall, i think this game is pretty fun. Definitely a time killer, especially playing solo. Its not hard to understand how everything works and how to craft certain things/using certain items. The only difficult thing that took me a little while to figure out, is your scroll wheel on your mouse, controls the menu in the middle of your screen when you're looking at an item/bag/box/chest. So if it has 3 options, and says "pickup, equip, open" you would scroll down to either equip or open. I kept getting an error saying no room to store item.
*$20 is a good bit for a new game, but its worth it. Especially if it gets updated frequently. The second day having it, there's already been an update when i opened steam, so that's a good sign.*
