I wanted to recommend this game wholeheartedly. The art style is nicely grungy. The sound is subtle and moody. It scratches that itch to take your stress out by murdering innocent npcs just looking for a digital pastry. A very good game as far as the main story line goes. Endless mode however ...
Travesty.
The mode is buggy and not balanced well at all. When relaunching is the only workaround to get npcs to function properly, your game is dysfunctional. The sad thing is that the devs have completely abandoned even attempting to fix these known issues people have been asking them to fix since the mode was added. They consider the game finished and have yet to respond to anyone asking if they will fix the broken endless mode. In point of fact, they actively choose to stop commenting in any thread when they are questioned about fixing endless mode.
If the devs don't respect their own game enough to fix the broken mechanics, then players have no reason to respect the devs' work either.
I will happily change my opinions and give the game the glowing review it originally deserved just as soon as the devs decide to give a damn again and fix their broken game mode.

Tailoring clothing, managing a restaurant, murdering and cannibalism!! What more would you want from a game?!?! Enjoyed the game play. It's a short game with easily attainable achievements.

There were a few bugs here and there, but they don't ruin the taste of the juicy meat! You run a tailor shop and a restaurant at the same time. However, the twist is that the tailor shop is for killing people, and the restaurant is for serving meals prepared with meat of the clients you’ve killed. The game is pretty short and might get repetitive after a while, but with each upgrade you buy, the gameplay loop becomes more challenging yet even more satisfying.

The game play is nice and cozy. Very low bandwidth, but very addictive at the same time!
I was surprised just how much inspiration could be drawn from Sweeney Todd, but despite that, still very enjoyable gameplay.
A couple of bugs. Occasionally a victim to kill will appear on the wrong floor, and you won’t be able to get them, and at higher levels, that can really affect your gameplay.
It also feels like eventually your restaurant will get more popular than your tailor shop, and getting enough meat to sustain will become VERY difficult.

originally I got this bundle for the game While We Wait Here but ended up trying Ravenous Devils first and I haven't even tried the other game yet. Ravenous Devils has turned out to be way more than I expected and I absolutely love it. I enjoy the graphics and the story but really there's so much to appreciate. highly recommend!

It's an alright game for what it is. Though you get actively punished for upgrading your store. You only get so much 'meat' each day, and you absolutely cannot stretch this out. So there's absolutely zero reason to expand your menus when it only raises the chance of waste to near guarentee. Why bother expanding the recipes if keeping the basic food is all you need to win?

This review is specially made for those who like to get all the achievements in games (minor spoilers ahead).
Description:
Ravenous Devils is a cheap, short, casual simulation/crafting game where you play a couple running two businesses, a tailor on the top floor and a restaurant on the ground floor. If you watched the trailer you already know that they use a specially cheap raw material… people. You will be selling both the clothes of the deceased as well as their meat, which is used in a lot of different recipes.
The story starts as you arrive in a new town after having to run away. There, the protagonist will establish their new businesses but soon complications ensue and they will cross paths with a few different characters that will make things interesting and the future uncertain.
The graphics and layout of the stores reminds me of fallout shelter, but the look isn’t as cartoonish and the backgrounds are quite detailed and have a lot of depth, turning it into a 2.5D game. Despite the price, the ambiance and voice acting is good but the writing sometimes makes it obvious that the game was made by non-native english speakers.
The gameplay is very simple to learn and the critical skill needed is really managing the timing of the tasks you have to do, and that requires some agility to be efficient, still, as I mentioned, it’s a casual game that won’t punish you if you fail. The upgrades you buy will help you progress faster but it can be slow at times and keep in mind that like in most crafting games you’ll have to repeat the same tasks a lot of times.
Regarding progress, the way you choose your upgrades can make your progress much slower so my advice is
getting the tables and become a restaurant only after you get the waiter and all the mannequin and display upgrades, this way you can focus on the cooking the recipes needed for the restaurant without losing sales from the other clients. Some recipes are also worth more money than the starting ones, so getting the new meat cuts and ingredients as soon as possible will help you get more money faster.
As a side-note, something I don’t understand is how, in a crafting game, all the cooking recipes are spoiled after you get the ingredients. Trying different combinations and discovering recipes is one of my favorite things is crafting games and therefore I think the game could benefit from having a casual mode and normal mode where everything wasn’t spoon-fed to you.
Achievements:
How many: 31 Achievements.
How much time: Around 5 hours, with a guide just for the few hidden achievements.
Game difficulty: Easy, but takes agility to be efficient.
Achievements’ Difficulty: Easy. No achievements are missable as after the story ends you can still keep playing, but you need to unlock and upgrade everything and do a few random tasks.
Overall opinion:
Ravenous Devils is a short, casual crafting game with a horror theme and an interesting story but the crafting mechanics are very simple, which makes them repetitive after a while and, overall, there isn’t much content. Still, considering the price, it’s an interesting game.

Combine The Sims, Cooking Dash, and Sweeney Todd, and you get this craziness. It's fun for a little while, at least enough to get through the storyline and maybe get all the upgrades, but after endgame, there's really not much replayability. It gets dull after a bit, and it took me probably about three hours to beat the main story. It is not for the faint of heart in terms of graphic content. You've been warned!
