If you are in this page there is a high chance that you already know about cracking the cryptic channel so you already ready to buy this one. But if you don't know about that channel, I definitely suggest to start from there, just watch some of the videos from the channel and get acquainted with Simon first. that would convince you about how intriguing, fun, challenging and exciting Sudoku puzzles could be! which honestly I couldn't imagine before watching the videos from Cracking the Cryptic. And about this game in particular, well this one has 40 different Sudoku puzzles with different difficulty levels and from different Sudoku constructors. I don't know if they are going to add more puzzles to the game in the future or not, but even right now the variety of the puzzles is excellent. (All the puzzles including Arrow logic but there are also knight rule, non consecutive rule, Sandwich Sudoku, etc. for keeping the game from becoming repetitive.

Love the puzzles so far, but it's been a year since launch and this promise still goes unfulfilled sadly: Features: 100 puzzles in all with regular updates to reach this total in the first year post launch. Edit: they suddenly got all the new puzzles in, think they forgot to update this one lol. Nice and fast reaction within ~a day though <3

I absolutely love this game. Cracking The Cryptic has taken the Sudoku genre to a whole new level over boring computer generated puzzles. I enjoy finding the "logic paths"! Once you find them, you're like a train on rails. But, finding the logic paths, and the break-in is the most enjoyable part. I load each puzzle with great anticipation; knowing I have to reset my brain, and have to take a fresh approach. These puzzles keep my brain fresh, and active. If you'd like to do the same, I highly recommend this app, as well as all the others offered by Cracking The Cryptic. So much enjoyment!!

If you are a fan of Sudoku and puzzles in general, you will enjoy this game. Arrow is a deceptively simple ruleset - the digits along the arrow shaft must add to the circled digit. As with any Sudoku, the puzzle can be an easy coffee break puzzle or a work of genius that can take you an hour or more to solve. Coming from Cracking the Cryptic, you are guaranteed a good quality product and it comes well recommended.

This one could use a combination window like killer cages. But so far it is fun like the others.

This is the first of the sudoku games where I feel I have to not recommend. The puzzles were interesting at first but as soon as I got into the 20's, I started to be unable to follow the logic of the hints. The fact I see the same troubles in the forum does not help this. When I can't follow the logic and see how you're making the deductions you are, I get frustrated because it doesn't feel like I'm actually solving it, I'm just guessing and letting the error checker tell me if I'm wrong or not. I'm not sure if it's the difficulty curve or what but this one is definitely not as satisfying as the Thermo Sudoku and the Chess Sudoku sets. I found myself enjoying those a lot more and cannot recommend this one until it's cleaned up more than a little bit.

I loved this developer and jumped on every game they pushed out. Sadly updates ground to a halt some time ago and there are still 3 (I think?) titles that have either well and truly reached or nearly reached, the "regular updates to have 100 puzzles in the first year of launch" promise, this hasn't happened. This game is now 11 months old and it has not had a single update with no response from the devs. I don't follow their social media etc ... so perhaps there is a valid reason for this. The base pack is great but you will burn through them quickly and go insane checking your update queue every day for more. Trust me on that.

I'm a big fan of the YouTube channel and own the "Cracking the Cryptic" collection which includes all the games currently available (at a discounted price). Love them all and, with arrow sudoku being one of my favourite variants, this will provide many hours of relaxing entertainment for me.

This is the best Cracking the Cryptic app so far. In terms of difficulty, Arrow Sudoku is about medium. Not extremely difficult like some of the other varieties, but definitely harder than, say, Sandwich Sudoku or Thermo Sudoku. It does involve math, which may be a good thing for some, and less enjoyable for others. It's not heavy math; in Killer Sudoku, for example, you need a calculator to keep track of the different options (which they provide in their Killer Sudoku app as well), but here, it's simple enough math that you don't really need it. The app itself is quite beautiful and obvious effort was put into polish and a themed environment. I find that it's a theme I like and appreciate. There are even animated rays of light shining in the background! What more could you want? It's a puzzle app. Details like that are where it goes above and beyond for me. So overall this should be good for new Sudoku players and also be interesting enough to keep experienced solvers occupied and engaged as well. If you have any interest in puzzles or especially Sudoku, don't miss out on this app. The software offers the same excellent choice of settings, but even the default settings are improved and more intuitive! I liked them enough I ended up going back and setting the other apps to the same settings as this one, after realizing the other apps also offered those settings, but didn't come with them turned on.

If you watch Cracking the Cryptic on Youtube you'll recognise some world-class constructors in this collection. It's got the same great user interface as the other games in the series and I've really enjoyed the first eleven puzzles, despite having little experience with arrow sudoku. You may be one of the people who wonder why you'd want to pay for sudoku puzzles when you can do them for free on the internet - and I don't mean that dismissively, I think we've all been there. The answer is that the potential for creativity in such a seemingly simple nine-by-nine grid is preposterously high, and the free, auto-generated online puzzles don't showcase any of it. A hand-crafted puzzle by a master of the form is unrecognisably superior, and well worth paying for. (If you're still here, and you don't watch Cracking the Cryptic, I recommend that you start! And if you do watch but aren't a Patron I urge you to sign up; it's absurdly good value).
